The traditional Christmas market takes place from 26th November 2021 to 6th January 2022 in the town centre of Brunico. The guests will find lovely decorated stands with arts and craft, sweet treats and handmade gifts as well as several culinary delights at the Christmas market. Concerts, music, ice rink and the Advent Calender.

The Merano Christmas Market provides a magical atmosphere, with daily concerts, children’s entertainment, local customs and handicrafts. There are other Christmas markets in Merano and Environs too, offering textiles, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wooden objects. Closed on 25th December.

The Capuchin Garden with the Sterntaler Christmas Market is already open from 10.00 a.m. on the first day of Advent - the official ceremonial opening takes place at 5.00 p.m.. A Christmas theatre performance will frame the festivities.

The "Brontntol Tuifl" of Laives invite to the Krampus parade on 30 November from 7 pm along Via Cairoli to the intersection of Via Pietralba and Via Dante. This year, 11 groups and over 200 Krampus take part in the parade. Afterwards, the "Aftershowparty" will take place at the Kulturhaus in Laives.

The Höllischen Pichl/Gsies invite everyone to the big Krampus show run in Colle in the Val Casies Valley. Krampuses from South Tyrol and Austria will take part. The event starts at 7 pm. and ends with an after-show party with a food stand and party music.

Experience the enchanting Farmers’ Advent at Hasenegg, located at 999 meters above sea level, on the weekends of November 30th - December 1st and December 7th - 8th, from 11 AM to 6 PM. Numerous exhibitors will showcase and sell their lovingly handcrafted products, and your palate will be delighted with delicious farm specialties and warm beverages at the gourmet stand. Enjoy traditional treats and the cozy atmosphere while musicians and singers enhance the Advent charm with their melodies. A varied children's program with Elisabeth Karnutsch Taibon, a petting zoo, and horseback riding will also be offered for the little ones.

Also this year the Advent market takes place at St. Peter in the morning from 09.00 am, where self-designed flower arrangements, Advent wreaths, candles etc. are for sale.

The rural Christmas Market in Partschins is a very unique and picturesque one, taking place in the authentic ambience of the historic church square. In rustic stands you can find precious regional products as well as gastronomic specialties.

Warm lights and colours illuminate the Christmas time in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This year La Val organises a special Advent calendar, on the facades of the houses, revealing the magic of Christmas. One by one, from 1st to 24th December at 5 p.m. the windows will be symbolically opened, illuminating a new window every evening. All the illuminated windows can be admired until 6th January. Every Tuesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit the wheat field and our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairies Aignerhof and Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. In a valley in which dialect and garb are still alive, it is not unusual that its tradition is thoroughly cultivated. The „Klöckeln“, is a pre-Christian custom practised the first weeks of December and has an old tradition.

Selva Val Gardena is getting ready for a very special Christmas. The idyllic village of Selva, in the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of the majestic Sella mountain group, is, at 1550 metres above sea level, the highest town in Val Gardena. With its direct connection to the legendary ski tour 'Sella Ronda', it offers 500km of perfectly prepared slopes for every ski lover. Strolling through the village you can stop to try a steaming hot mug of mulled wine or warm mulled apple drink, and you can easily find the perfect Christmas gift such as sweet scented pine pillows, cosy mountain slippers, warm woolly socks, wooden nativity scenes, and many other items to decorate your mountain Christmas. Thousands of twinkling lights infused with sweet Christmas melodies will be sure to light up the hearts of young and old alike. The Christmas market is open from December 7th to December 10th, from December 15th to December 17th, and from December 22nd to January 6th, daily from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It is closed from December 11th to December 14th and from December 17th to December 22nd.

In the chilly December air, the village glows in celebration of St. Nicholas's arrival. Families gather while children eagerly await the festivities. St. Nicholas, clad in his splendid red cloak, arrives accompanied by angels carrying sacks of sweets. As he distributes gifts to the children, he creates an atmosphere of joy and enchantment. Our local farmers from La Val delight everyone with traditional Ladin specialties, transforming the evening into a warm and festive celebration of community. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

The traditional St. Nicholas procession starts at 5 p.m. at the Hotel Jager Hans. From there to the village square, there is an opportunity to meet St. Nicholas and take a souvenir photo. At the village square, St. Nicholas and his angels distribute the St. Nicholas sacks and St. Nicholas carols are sung. During the procession, food parcels are collected for children in Moldova and Ukraine. Cosy get-together in the village square with various dishes and hot drinks.

The Devils Run is a South tyrolean tradition. The Run starts at 6 p.m. and following party in the village center.

The beautiful historic center of Castelrotto once again provides the backdrop for the many small stalls that offer gifts, handicrafts, nativity figures, South Tyrolean products, herbs, candles and much more for sale to visitors. With mulled wine and fragrant cookies, homemade "Kastelruther Krapfen" visitors can listen to the Christmas music, escape the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle and experience a few contemplative moments. This year we will pass the time with handicrafts and games for our little visitors, while the adults can comfortably taste a fragrant mulled wine. Wise brass instruments, alphorn players, choirs and singers will round off the Christmas program.

The stamping of hooves will send a cold shiver down your spine. A wild mob dressed up with furs, long coats and horns on their traditional masks (Lorfn) are on their way. The Devils outfits are impressive but the wooden masks are an art in their own right. In these often very heavy hand crafted wooden “Lorfn” much imaginative detail can be seen. Together with rattling chains, deafening cows bells, fire spitting little devils and cheeky witches (Perchten) the spectacle and indeed the illusion is complete. The rite harks back to legend. One which tells the story of times of famine where young farmers, men from high up in the mountains dressed in animal furs and horns, went off on raids.
