The Capuchin Garden with the Sterntaler Christmas Market is already open from 10.00 a.m. on the first day of Advent - the official ceremonial opening takes place at 5.00 p.m.. A Christmas theatre performance will frame the festivities. From 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm, surrounded by the sounds of his guitar, Aster will bring a mixture of well-known cover songs, Christmas carols and his own compositions to the stage.

The Tyrolean Advent in the Castle will be taking place in the historic ambience of Tyrol Castle. Tyrol Castle provides an atmospheric backdrop for a genuine South Tyrolean Christmas experience. Local exhibitors will present traditional handicrafts such as felting, pottery, turning, spinning, braiding, dyeing and the production of ceramics or jewelry in the castle's rooms. There will be a well-balanced program of events for visitors every day during Advent in the Castle: whilst crackling fires make for a cozy atmosphere, food stands will offer traditional dishes, baked goods and drinks. The Christmas market will also be attended by choirs and music groups, and there will also be all kinds of entertainment for children.

Our Christmas market, the Alpine Advent Sarntal Valley, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year in Val Sarentino, the visitors of our Christmas street market will be enchanted by a myriad of Christmas trees. 20 wooden stands will display the traditional, handcrafted and unique products made in Val Sarentino, while the food and wine stands will offer local goodies such as sweet and airy Krapfen, Striezl (Sarentino-style fried bread) and rye bread. The Christmassy feeling will be heightened by music bands and carol singers and in addition there will be a hands-on workshop and animation shows for the children.

Experience the enchanting Christmas magic in St. Michael | Eppan, where a winter wonderland comes to life on the town hall square. The glow of Christmas lights illuminates the square, while the small but exquisite Christmas market invites visitors to linger. In the midst of this festive ambience, you can discover unique treasures from talented South Tyrolean artisans. We are particularly proud that exhibitors from SelberGMOCHT Südtirol are represented at the Christmas market - a platform where skilled South Tyroleans present their lovingly crafted pieces.

This year, the Sterntaler Christmas Market in Lana becomes even more inviting. The enchanting backdrop of the historic Capuchin Garden contributes to the cozy atmosphere, hosting nearly 20 Christmas stalls during the Advent weekends – from November 29 to December 24, 2024. Small fir trees adorned with shiny red ornaments and the warm glow of luminous spheres surround the lovingly decorated stalls offering genuine South Tyrolean handicrafts. An engaging program for the whole family – including ponies and sheep, a glitter workshop, and a hands-on circus, all set to the sounds of festive live music – completes the experience and promises unforgettable moments of enjoyment. Please note that on December 5 and December 31, 2024, only the culinary stalls will be open.

The traditional Christmas market takes place from 26th November 2021 to 6th January 2022 in the town centre of Brunico. The sheep with their bleating and the astonished goggle eyes of their lambs as a backdrop will certainly make you feel like Christmas.

On the horse-drawn carriage past spruce and larch trees in the winter glow, spotting wooden forest animals here and there. Gentle Christmas melodies, individual music groups are always guests. GLORENZA ADVENT MARKET Under the motto "Lights-Smells-Sounds" the Advent market will finally take place again in Glurns. Time for contemplation and culinary highlights. With the medieval backdrop and the romantic alleys of the town, this Advent market is unique. It is characterized by contemplative and musical moments with brass groups and choirs. More than 45 merchants offer their self-produced and handcrafted goods. There will alsobe pre-Christmas crafts, fairy tales and Punch and Judy shows for children. The Christmas crib, composed of handmade figures of jute, is set up each year in a different farm or place in the municipality of Terlano/Terlan.
