Starting from the Niger Pass, we hike slightly uphill past the Baumannschwaige to the highest point of the hike at approx. 2000 m and on to the Hanigerschwaige. From there, a moderately steep descent to the next mountain pasture (Plafetsch), continuing out of the valley to St. Zyprian in the Tierser Tal valley. The sensation of cold water, walking barefoot on various surfaces, breathing and mindfulness exercises are just a few elements you will experience on this journey through the teachings of Kneipp. Together with Christine, a Kneipp and mindfulness trainer, the hike begins at the Algund Tourism Association with a cold arm bath. Afterwards, she will lead you to the "Grabbach-rivulet" where your feet will come in touch with the ice-cold water. Targeted exercises stimulate circulation and promote blood flow. Then, you will continue barefoot to the Blumenthalerhof, where you will once again come into contact with ice-cold water in a large Kneipp basin. Maria, the host, will surprise you with a healthy herbal lemonade and a snack made from fresh herbs. A day for you and your well-being awaits, and you will notice that the interplay between nature and water has an immensely soothing effect on the body.

Would you like to learn more about the crunchy all-rounder apple? Then a guided apple tour through the orchards is just the thing for you. Our orchardist will accompany you and tell you everything you need to know about this diverse fruit. As a culinary conclusion, you can expect a tasting of delicious apples and apple juice. E-Bike Tour – Freiberg - Merano Our Freiberg Tour begins in Algund. From there we ride along the signposted cycle track into Merano. In the spa town we ride along various side streets in the old town and soon reach the cycle track that leads into the Passeier Valley. At Lazag we leave the cycle track and reach the lovely Merano district of Obermais, from where we cycle in the direction of St. Georgen as far as Goyen Castle. Next we cross the Naif Valley and reach the Freiberg, where a fabulous view of Merano awaits us. We then cycle along Panoramastrasse to the Rauthof wine tavern, where we take a well-deserved break. The return journey is via a lovely route back down into Merano and then on to Algund. Participation at own risk. Difference in altitude: 650 metres

Every Tuesday a shuttle takes you to the Schartegg car park on the Kastelbeller Nörderberg mountain. There is the starting point for wonderful hikes to the different alpine pastures. Mountain bikers can explore the new bike area of Nörderberg mountain starting from the Schartegg car park. Limited booster seats for children are available. Dogs are transported only on request and with muzzle. The return journey must be booked separately.

THE GUIDE IN THE BUS SPEAKS GERMAN AND ITALIAN! Immerse yourself in the extraordinary beauty of the Dolomites during our grand tour! We start our bus journey in Schenna and head towards Val Gardena. From there, the route takes us through the Gardena Pass to Corvara and then to the Campolongo Pass. Along the way, we enjoy spectacular views of the majestic mountain peaks. Our journey continues to Arabba and through the Pordoi Pass, and finally past the Karer Pass back to Schenna.

The Ötzi Glacier Tour is an extremely varied one day round tour, which crosses the main chain oft the Alps. It takes place every Tuesday and upon request. The undisputed highlight of this accompanied glacier trekking tour is the discovery site of Ötzi the Iceman (3,210 m). Starting from Kurzras. From the mountain terminal of the Glacier Cable Car, we will travel over the Hochjochferner (2,800 m/9,186 ft.) to the Schwarze Wand and on to the Hauslabjoch (3,280 m./10,761 ft.) We will then descend to the Tisenjoch (3,210 m/10,532 ft.), the site where Ötzi was discovered. Return to the Similaun Refunge in the early afternoon. We will then descend through the Tisen Valley to Vernagt (1,700 m./5,577 ft.) Return to Kurzras. During sharing of knowledge with our herbal educator, Brigitta Patzleiner, we will discover all kinds of useful and fascinating facts about the application and use of various wild herbs. Our forefathers used their knowledge of the healing power of plants for prevention and healing. Now we have an opportunity to get our hands on them and, for example, make a soothing salve from comfrey, mix a delicious herbal shampoo, or whip up an ingenious herbal liqueur to suit our own tastes.

If you are looking for an exciting human-animal-nature-experience on the mountain, the Pirchhof-Lamas from Birchberg are just right for you. On the llama experience day we want to inspire you all around. First of all, you will look behind the scenes of our llama breeding, get to know our 24-headed llama and alpaca rascals and experience "up close" how our llama kids grow up. We will answer all your questions about husbandry, feeding, care, rearing, training and wool processing and turn you into little llama and alpaca experts. When you are really familiar with the topic, we will start on a leisurely llama and alpaca tour. Halfway through the tour we will take a short break and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the "South Tyrolean Andes". A great backdrop to take souvenir photos with your llama or alpaca. Afterwards we hike back to the farm in a relaxed way. There, a skill course awaits you, which you will master with your animal hiking partner. At the end you will receive your very own "llama or alpaca guide certificate" as a reward. Ideal for families with children from 3 years After the tour you have the possibility to stop at the Brandhof - an idyllically located farm tavern with its own cheese dairy, very close to the Pirchhof llamas. Guided tour of the Niederlana parish church with the Schnatterpeck altar. A first church was built on this site in the early Middle Ages on Roman foundations. In 1492, the present late Gothic wall pillar church was consecrated. Josef Weingartner counts it among the "most beautiful Gothic churches in the country" in his "Art Monuments of South Tyrol". The Gothic winged altar from the workshop of Hans Schnattpereck is a work of art that is known far beyond the borders of the province.

At Tholerhof, both young and old, have the opportunity to gain their first riding experiences and get a feel for sitting in the saddle of these fascinating and powerful Haflinger horses and Shetland ponies. After riding, children can help with grooming and taking care of the horses. For more experienced riders, Tholerhof offers great rides in the forest around Aschbach. From high up on the horse, you'll see the surroundings from a more impressive perspective.
