At the Algund Farmers' Market from October 23rd to 27th, fresh, regional, and homemade products from all over South Tyrol will be showcased and offered for sale. Join us and be inspired by the variety of agricultural products. Fresh chestnuts will be roasted daily. Two farmers will provide visitors with homemade dishes and serve freshly harvested wines and drinks from their own production. A special program with live music will round off the event.

From the Schermoos car park, we follow the European Long Distance Trail to the Möltner Joch. Follow a hiking trail through sparse larch forest to the Möltner Kaser Alm. Here we follow a path to the famous Stoanerne Mandln hilltop, with an impressive view of the Dolomites. This mystical cult site is marked by dozens of man-sized stone men. Return to the Möltner Kaser and then via the Jenesier Jöchl back to the starting point. Travel by public transport. Walking time: approx. 5 hours Altitude difference: 700 m

Immerse yourself in the dazzling autumn splendour on the Rösslsteig trail and along the Waalweg trail "Riffianer Waalweg" trail from Saltaus/Saltusio to Kuens/Caines. Enjoy the picturesque hike through the fascinating play of colours in nature. A delicious "Törggelen" experience awaits you at the restaurant Hilberkeller, where you can indulge in regional specialities and a cosy atmosphere. After this enjoyable stop, we hike together to Kuens/Caines and take the bus back to Saltaus/Saltusio. Walking time: approx. 3 hours | Difference in altitude: approx. 250 m The hike will be in German and Italian.

ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! From Monte Santa Caterina we walk along the Merano High Path past Lint to the Unterstell cable car, from where we descend to Naturno. Walking time: approx. 3 hours Height difference: ascent 260 m, descent 280 m

The chestnut has a long tradition in South Tyrol. In this cooking class, that will be in German language and/or Italian language, you will learn how to prepare sweet and piquant dishes with chestnuts of Tesimo.

On Friday, 25 October at 8.30 p.m., the Algund Music Band once again invites all brass music lovers to listen to an hour of contemplative brass music in the parish church of St. Joseph in Algund. At this year's church concert, director Christian Laimer will enjoy that beautiful music. For the musicians of the Algund Music Band, a concert in "their" parish church is always a special experience and a great musical challenge. The musicians are happy to meet you! There´s also free entry.

Wine and first-class music are the protagonists of the second edition of the concert series WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. Experience a guided tour of the historic castle Payersberg, followed by a first-class concert with the band TriOlé. After the sounds of the music have faded after about an hour, the focus is on enjoyment. Fine appetisers accompany the excellent wine from the winery Nals Margreid and round off the musical experience with culinary delights. A lyrical fantasy about the history of evolution liberates our vision and thinking from anthropocentrism. Three dancers immerse the viewer in a world of gentle waves that is both primeval and futuristic. Editta Braun is a pioneer of contemporary choreography in Austria. After graduating from the University of Salzburg, she studied dance in Paris and New York. She has created more than 35 productions and has toured the world with her company. Her special characteristics are intercultural collaboration, political engagement, society and theatre in a feminist perspective. She has won important national and international awards for her choreographic work and, since 2023, several awards for her first dance film LUVOS migrations. You love apples, but have never thought about who is behind the juicy-sweet vitamin bombs? Then a guided apple tour through the orchards is just the thing for you. Our apple farmer accompanies you through the apple meadows and tells you interesting facts about the diverse fruit. Afterwards, farmers Gitti and Sepp will make, bake and, of course, taste Apfelkiachl (apple fritters). Walking time: ca. 1.5 hours | Difference in altitude: ca. 100 m The event will be in German.

A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better. Registration required in the tourist information office by 5 pm on the previous day. Limited number of participants.

The craftsmen of Tesimo invite you to a convivial evening with roasted chestnuts, "Suser" (grape must) and wine in the centre of Tesimo.

According to the motto "Someone always spins", the Spinnradl has been processing local sheep's wool since 1948 and creating special cardigans that are completely customised to the individual needs of the customer. Owner Franz will guide you through the workshops, where you will experience the old craft at first hand, from washing the wool to carding, spinning, knitting and sewing the jackets. After an introduction to the craft, you can give free rein to your own creativity with felting. At the end, a tasting of regional delicacies awaits you at Spezialitäten Pamer. The event will be in German and Italian.

From the farm museum participants walk to the Bildheim, where Martha Lochmann passes on her knowledge about seeds. At the Roacherhof the participants learn curious things about the chestnut. Next to Stettnerhof there are interesting facts about wine and apples and a rural 3-course menu. Included: lunch with drinks, tomato and potato tasting, roasted chestnuts. Reservation: by Tuesday 29 October at 12 noon

Short hike with guided tour through the chestnut groves of the "Mair am Turm" farm in Grissiano. In front of the historic farm chestnuts are roasted and tasted. After that the hike goes back to the Schmiedlhof (tavern), where a "Marende" is served and enjoyed.

During a guided exploratory walk through the vineyards with winegrower Michl, you will learn everything you need to know about wine: from its history, to care measures, varieties and marketing. At the end of the exploration you can taste South Tyrolean wines and specialties and thus get to know the aromas and tastes of the region. The bus takes us to the beautiful village of Ciardes in the Vinschgau, where we walk through orchards to the Waal (irrigation channel) and along it, without too much effort, to Juval Castle. We walk back to the bus along the Stava Waalweg. Walking time: approx. 3 hours Altitude difference: little Difficulty level: easy

Would you like to find out more about the fascinating world of goats? Then come to the Goat Festival "Goas Festival" with bell flea market, leather embroidery, basket weaving and pony rides. - 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. drive up - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. puncturing of the 2020 goats - 2 - 4 p.m. ring demonstration - 4 p.m. awarding of the goats Food and drink will be provided by Martin's Hofladen and the cheese dairy Schupferhof.
