The descent follows the trail via the Hochalm and the Egger-Grub-Alm back to the parking space. Elisabeth from the Moschwald Alm in Hafling has the right knack and is happy to share her knowledge with you. Together you will prepare South Tyrolean dumplings in the traditional way. The LanAntiqua Festival, organised by the LanAntiqua Association, aims to give "early music", which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, its deserved place in the cultural life of Lana. This music, which is not limited to any epoch, covers the periods from the Middle Ages to Romanticism. The festival's highest maxim is: original sound, i.e. the performance of the music in an appropriate sound setting on instruments of the period and with the knowledge gained from the historical performance practice handed down in treatises. At the traditional Zeppichl cattle drive, the decorated animals return to Zeppichl from the Laziner Hof from around 11.30 a.m. "Frühschoppen" with the Bohemian music of Vernuer and musical entertainment with the music group "Die 2 Lustigen", as well as interludes by the "Schuhplattler" from Stuls/Stulles and Mölten/Meltina. There is a pot of luck with great prizes to be won.

On 28 September, the sheep return from their summer retreat. The return is celebrated on the Timmelsalm with the traditional sheep shearing ceremony. After shearing the sheep, the animals are handed over to their farmer. Musical entertainment is provided.

The old, unspoilt hiking trail begins at the parish church in Glorenza/Glurns and leads through meadows and fields to the restored, late Gothic St. Jakob's Church in Söles/Soles. The trail continues along a meadow path to Lichtenberg and a short climb to the ruins of Lichtenberg Castle, first mentioned in a document in 1228. A visit is possible if desired. The return to Glorenza/Glurns is via the Frauwaalweg. Elevation gain: approx. 200 metres Total walking time: approx. 4 hours Difficulty: easy hike

"The early bird catches the worm"! The well-known saying takes on a whole new meaning during a sunrise hike to the mountain Fleckner (2,336 m). Admittedly, it takes some motivation to get out of bed so early, but early risers are rewarded. Join us when the first rays of sun touch the top of the mountains, the light illuminates the majestic mountain landscape of the Passeiertal Valley and let yourself be enchanted by the unique panorama. The hike will be in German and Italian. After the descent, we fortify ourselves at alp Jaufen Alm with a mountain breakfast featuring local products. Walking time: ca. 2 hours (there & back) | difference in altitude: 340 m

ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Holznerhof. We take the bus from the village centre of Schenna up to Verdins and hike via the Wieser Steig through the Vallplatz forest to the Holznerhof and after a cosy stop we descend to the Pichler restaurant. From the starting point you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. A Törggelemenü and hearty music are of course not to be missed!
