Our events combines music and enjoyment in the village centre. Visitors can also expect a tasting of alpine and mediterranean delicacies during a traditional concert by our local music bands.

Oldtimer in colour: The Südtirol Classic Golden Edition. Breath-taking views, culinary highlights and wonderful rides through the mild South Tyrolean autumn landscape are once again at the heart of the Südtirol Classic – Golden Edition from October 1st to October 5th, 2024. Light barriers and stop watches are of no concern!

Guided Bike Tour: Peter Mitterhofer Tour (34 km, 800 m elevation gain) Embark on the impressive Peter Mitterhofer Tour, covering 34 kilometers with an elevation gain of 800 meters. This guided bike tour meanders through picturesque villages, offering not just a sporting adventure but also cultural and culinary highlights. Our journey begins in Algund, where an experienced bike guide leads us through a panoramic landscape to Töll and the K&K Museum of Bad Egart. Continuing along the Apple Road, amidst blooming orchards, we reach Naturno and follow the bike path to Partschins, where the Typewriter Museum awaits. The Museum has over 2000 typewriters, making it one of the world's largest collections. The next leg involves a challenging ascent to the "Dursterhof" hut, rewarding us with a delightful lunch break and a tasty snack. Energized, we pedal back through Tell to our starting point in Algund. The diverse landscape and cultural attractions ensure this bike tour is an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts eager to actively explore the beauty of South Tyrol."

The autumn custom of Törggelen has a centuries-old tradition in South Tyrol. After the successful harvest in autumn, the farmers of the area met and celebrated with new wine, cabbage and smoked meat, doughnuts and chestnuts. To this day, Törggelen is considered by South Tyroleans to be an expression of conviviality and joie de vivre. Traditional Törggelen at the village fountain in the center of Naturno from 14.30 - 17.30 with roasted chestnuts, new wine and music. In October a flea market takes place at the same time at the town hall square from 9 am - 5 pm.

In Schenna, South Tyrol's "fifth season" is celebrated with the Törggele afternoons at the Raiffeisen Square. Various stalls offer South Tyrolean specialities to taste and buy. Of course, roasted chestnuts and new wine, the so-called Sußer, are not to be missed. Musical accompaniment is also provided!

Every first Wednesday of the month from May to October, the Passeiertal Valley Tourism Association organises the market "Riffiner Dorfmarktl" in Riffian/Rifiano in collaboration with various exhibitors from the surrounding area. From 4 p.m. to approx. 8 p.m. local exhibitors offer various lovingly handcrafted items and delicious farm produce for sale. Visitors will be entertained with music.

Not only the Knottnkino in Vöran offers spectacular views. Our guides take you to the lesser-known but still beautiful viewpoints, the so-called 'Beimstein Knott' and 'Timpfler Knott'. Both are part of the geologically interesting 'red rocks' of Vöran. On the way, you will learn about the visible mountain peaks and the surrounding villages. Climatic therapy is the application of natural weather and climatic factors for therapeutic purposes. The particular health-promoting aspects of this hike, which leads from the centre of the village through orchards and deciduous forest up to Partschins Waterfall, include the fresh mountain air, sunshine and the pleasantly cool breeze. Thunderous noise and the finest spray herald the waterfall, which is revealed as an impressive natural spectacle after a good hour’s walk ascending 430 metres. A boon to lungs afflicted by life in the city, soothing for the soul and spirit. Measured exercise combined with targeted climatic exposure and expertly guided endurance and thermoregulation training lead to relaxation and recuperation, as well as increased resistance and a stronger immune system.

Guided tour through the apple meadows in Lana (with reservation). Our farmer will guide you through their fields, explains you about the healthy ingredients, the production area and about all sorts and brands of the South Tyrolean apple. Gain insight into the secrets of the apple farmers - from the latest technology of today and the gnarled giants of the past. Afterwards, you can taste for yourself.

From the Hofmahdjoch parking lot, we first hike in the direction of Castrin Alm. We branch off left a little before and take the path to the Gamperalm (approx. 1 hour). After a good hour's walk we reach the Spitzneralm. After a good rest, we descend via the forest road to the Zoggler reservoir in St. Walburg. Approach to Ulfas/Ulvas to the parking space called "Kratzegg". Ascent on trail no. 2 across alpine meadows to the large cairn on the ridge and on to the summit. Traditional Bread Baking at the Tholer Farm The South Tyrolean kitchen is characterised by well-preserved old traditions. Elisabeth and Ernst of the Tholer farm let you sneak a peek behind the curtains and reveal to you their recipe for the traditional Paarl bread. Together you prepare the rye dough, form the bread and bake it in the old stone stove. You learn interesting facts about the rye cultivation and local baking tradition, and receive a recipe and some bread to take with you.

Subject: "Our apples... from blossom to harvest." Fascinating facts about the apple, its history, cultivation methods, varieties and marketing. Enjoy exploring our orchards as you find out all sorts of interesting information about fruit growing followed by a tasting session. Limited number of participants.

Discover the typical ways of preparing the traditional South Tyrolean vegetable, cheese or bacon dumpling on this cookery course and afterwards enjoy your own home-made dumpling speciality. Alps Move presents "Geistesblitz" by Sabine Raffeiner. Sabine Raffeiner chose poems by Paolo Quarta as inspiration for the score for her multi media performance. Her subject is the resilience and uniqueness of every human being, both for good and for evil. INIZIO by Francesca Ziviani - Italian premiere. This solo draws the complex portrait of a female and demonic figure who stands at the beginning of all our origins and whose body pulsates in the constant alternation of inhibition and the urge for freedom. The insistent rhythm of the drum accompanies this special journey into memory, rich in forgotten emotions and inner strength. Concert evening by the Algund Music Band with the Young Zollernalb Wind Philharmonic On this evening, the Algund Music Band will join forces with the Young Zollernalb Wind Philharmonic to provide special musical delights. Starting at 8:30 PM, the audience will have the pleasure of experiencing truly unique music styles. The first part of the evening will be presented by the Wind Philharmonic, while in the second part, Conductor Christian Laimer, along with his Algunds musicians, will offer a diverse and challenging program. The musicians are looking forward to welcoming you! Admission is free.

More than 60 vintage tractors, including 40 "Porsche-Diesel" tractors and 5 Porsche-Diesel Master tractors from various years of construction, can be viewed in the tractor museum. The oldest piece in the collection is a "Balilla" tractor dating from 1929. An experience for young and old! Please note: the guided tour is only available in German and Italian!

South Tyrolean wineries will be presenting their finest wines above the rooftops of Merano, along the Tappeiner Trail with its sweeping views of the entire Etschtal Valley. Prices: the Merano Wine Promenade has its own special currency: corks. The special corks and glasses are available from a clearly marked stand on the Merano Wine Promenade. Culinary delicacies, specially prepared to go with the wines, will be available from the Restaurant Saxifraga on the Meran wine promenade (hot food available all day).

The Villingen music band does one of their concerts at the Raiffeisen square.

On Saturday the fairground in St. Martin/S. Martino dives deep into its roots. Characteristic and high quality products for guests and locals. The market reflects a moment of enjoyment of the cuisine of the Passeiertal Valley: honey, cheese, bacon, wine, beer, freshly made bread and pasta, "Krapfen" and "Strudel" tyrolean specialities, teas. In addition interesting things from the world of herbs and handicrafts: felt work, decorations, wood art.

Flea market - used items from the household, cellar and attic fill the flea market stall and make you want to rummage and haggle in Oberlana, Raiffeisenhaus Lana car park, 6.00-19.00 (Registration for stand operators under mobile +39 335 612 708 9). The profits from the stall rents go to needy families in Lana and the surrounding area.
