Discover the winter idyll of the Carezza ski area with a snowshoe hike under the impressive rock walls of the Rosengarten – a winter experience that will enchant you. Tour Description: After ascending with the cable car from Tiers, we take the public bus to bus stop Kaiserstein, where we start our hike. The first part of the hike leads us initially downhill to the hotel Moseralm and then uphill across the Kölblegg-Frin meadows to Kuregg, below the Kölner Hütte at 2,000 m. After a short descent, we reach the Messnerjoch alpine hut, where we take a lunch break. The subsequent descent leads us back to the Tiers cable car. Meeting point: The meeting point is at 09:00 am at the valley station of the Tiers cable car. A second meeting point for guests from the Eggental Valley is at the Welschnofen cable car mountain station at 09:30. Hiking Time: Approximately 4 hours Ascent: Approximately 500 m Descent: Approximately 500 m Difficulty: Moderate hike, good basic fitness required Refreshment Stop: Messnerjoch

This unforgettable ski tour takes you to the heart of the Dolomites, where breathtaking nature and sporting challenge meet. We start directly from Tiers, where the panoramic cable car will take us to higher elevations. From there, we ski along the following route: from Tiers to Karer Pass, then by ski bus to Buffaure. Passing through Belvedere, we reach Sellajoch before descending to St. Christina. From there, we take the train to Seceda, continuing through St. Ulrich to the majestic Seiser Alm. Our experienced and local ski guides will accompany you safely along the route, offering spectacular views of the majestic Dolomites and the picturesque regions of Eggental, Val di Fassa, Val Gardena, and Seiser Alm. The Rosengarten Ronda is a demanding tour, intended only for experienced skiers who confidently handle black slopes.

With the hiking guide Roman Profanter from Compatsch via the Seiser Alm into the Tschapit Valley and to the Gstatsch Schwaige. Snowshoes and lunch included. Event only takes place with at least 5 participants.

The hour of birth of the alphorn is and will probably remain unknown. When we talk about an "alphorn" today, we mean a long, straight wooden horn bent at the bottom. For centuries, horn instruments of different materials and shapes have been made and played on all continents. As early as the 16th century, the alphorn served not only as a call and signal horn, but also as a toy for alpine shepherds and has become firmly stablished in the Alpine region in recent decades, with its own style of playing and dialect. Concert of the alphorn players in the village center of Seis am Schlern at 5:00 pm.

From January 09th to March 13th 2025 every Thursday a guided castle tour takes place. After the guided tour a cup of "Apfelglühmix", a mulled local apple juice, will be served. Admission: Adults € 13 - Children (6-14 years) € 7

In the evening we set off for a special experience in the mountains. We enjoy the tranquility of the atmosphere and hike togheter to the Alpe di Siusi and experience the magic of the full moon, while I tell you stories about the area. To conclude our hikes we stop for dinner at the Gostner hut.

Experience the pure magic of winter with a snowshoe hike in the deep winter Latemar area, where untouched snowy landscapes and the imposing panorama of the Dolomites promise an unforgettable nature experience. Tour Description: After ascending with the cable car from Tiers and then continuing by public bus, we start our hike at the cable car station Paolina. The path leads us uphill through the Latemar-Forest to the Mitterleger. Depending on snow conditions, we then hike either along the Labyrinth trail or trail No. 21 to Latmor Alm. After a lunch break, we descend via the Latemar meadows to the Karerpass, from where we return to Tiers by bus and cable car. Meeting point: The meeting point is at 09:00 am at the valley station of the Tiers cable car. A second meeting point for guests from the Eggental Valley is at the Welschnofen cable car mountain station at 09:30. At the Gostner hut, a cooking course for Kaiserschmarrn and dumplings takes place every Thursday. Learn to cook typical South Tyrolean dishes in the middle of the Alpe di Siusi in a wonderful ambience followed by a tasting.

Tour Description: After ascending with the cable car from Seis, we start our hike in Compatsch and hike via Panorama and Tschapit towards Goldknopf. Depending on preference, we can take the lunch break at Mahlknecht hut with a subsequent toboggan ride down to Saltria, or alternatively, we can have lunch at Almrosen hut followed by a hike down to Saltria. Following this, we return to the starting point by bus and cable car. Immerse yourself in the untouched wilderness of the Tschamin Valley with a snowshoe hike and enjoy the silent beauty of this pristine winter landscape, framed by the majestic peaks of the Rosengarten. Tour Description: We start the hike at the parking area of the cable car station in St. Zyprian (Tiers) and ascend to Runggun to the snowshoe gate. We continue across the Doss meadows into the Tschamin Valley, reaching the Rechter Leger. After a break, we cross the Tschamin stream and hike down on the other side of the valley back to the starting point. What do you do with a chair that only wobbles? With a toaster that no longer burns for anything? With a jumper that moths found devourable? Throw it away? As if! Come to the Repair Café and everything will be fine! Only when you have repaired something does it really belong to you. Even those who don't have anything to repair can eat or drink something at the Repair Café and help or watch someone else. It has now become a tradition, the Kastelruth farmers' wedding. This is a faithful re-enactment of a historical peasant wedding, as was customary at the foot of the Seiser Alm. Thanks to the involvement of the many participants, who proudly wear and present the old traditional costumes, the event has developed into one of the most magnificent traditional costume shows in South Tyrol. The highlight of the spectacle is the wedding procession from St. Anna (Wegmacher farm) to the center of Kastelruth. Dressed in traditional costumes, the wedding party parades into the center of Kastelruth on magnificently decorated horse-drawn sleighs, taking visitors on a journey back in time to the 19th century. On Sunday, 19.01.25 > Wedding procession: 14:00 Start in St. Anna (Wegmacher farm) 14:30 Arrival at the village square in Kastelruth Road Closure: - From 09:05 AM to 01:55 PM and from 03:05 PM to 03:55 PM, private vehicles are prohibited from driving in the section from Garni Schönblick to Wegscheid. Traffic will be diverted via Dolomitenstraße, Plattenstraße, and Telfen. Public buses, residents, and emergency vehicles are exempt from this rule. - The total closure of the Krausenplatz, O.v. Wolkenstein-Str. from the beginning to the Garni Schönblick building, and Dr. G. Fontana-Str. from the beginning to the end from 14:05 to 14:55 for all vehicle traffic. Emergency vehicles are excluded. There will also be a diversion via Dolomitenstraße, Plattenstraße and Telfen. (The route may be changed at short notice due to weather conditions)

From mid-January to mid-March you can enjoy live music every Sunday at lunchtime at the Saltner at Saltria hut.

Experience an enchanting circular hike on the snowy plateau between Tiers and Welschnofen, where sparkling snowfields and majestic mountain panoramas allow you to fully immerse yourself in the winter serenity of South Tyrol. Tour Description: After ascending with the cable car from Tiers, we begin our hike at the Frommeralm hut. We hike past the Niger Pass and take trail No. 1 towards Schillerhof. Before reaching it, we turn towards Hagneralm hut and continue on to Jocherhof. After a lunch break, we return to the starting point via Nigertal valley. Hike with the snow witch "La Cristana" from Compatsch to the Gstatsch hut. After mythical stories during the hike, we head to the Gstatsch hut for lunch. Start every Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Compatsch.
