Kronplatz now has yet another exciting novelty: its very own via ferrata for kids! Following a steel cable which runs along the climbing route and is fixed to the rock at regular intervals, our young explorers can now have a go at outdoor climbing in a fun and safe way. Equipped with a special via ferrata climbing kit – available from the nearby playground Little Kronplatz – it'll be an unforgettable adventure for even the most intrepid mini mountaineer!
The little ones are calling the shots next to the Kuppelwies cable car mountain station — this sunny field has been made into an ample practice park for our youngest guests. Soft slopes with fun characters and two modern Sunkid conveyor lifts, 60 and 80 meters long, make learning to ski fun!
While the kids frolic and slide in the snow — with or without skis — their parents and grandparents can enjoy the winter sun on the terrace right next door. Schwemmy Kinderland is open to all guests, even adult beginners and enthusiastic sledders. The Kinderland, skating rink and cross-country run make the cable car mountain station the new place for snow fun in the Ultental Valley.

The magnificent world of the forest in Dobbiaco invites kids to play, climb, jump and to learn through interactive play. The central element is a wooden platform. Strands of root radiate into the surrounding environment, with trees for climbing, isolated “woodpecker tree”, otter slide, bare-foot circuit, birds nest, high jump facility and more. There are information stations with explanations about the woods, fungi, forest soil and animal tracks. There is also a geology station. There are two public playgrounds in Marling. One of them is directly alongside the fairground (A. Pattisstrasse), whilst the other is a little lower down on Tiefackerweg. The playgrounds are open from 8 am to 10 pm. Animals are not permitted to enter the playgrounds. In addition, unnecessary noise should be avoided, particularly during the lunch hour between 1 and 2 pm.

The "The Sleeping Giant" park is a local recreation area with an area of 8 hectares, equipped with a playground for children, a relaxation area for adults, picnic space, and a pond for fishermen. A giant is located in the middle of the park, arranged for children to climb on. Adults can relax on several hammocks, park benches, and sunbeds. The recreation area is located near the Trodena River, a "sleeping giant" because of its calm flow but, once "awakened," it can get really dangerous.

Weiter geht’s zu den Tierbänken, hier kann nochmal kurz Rast gemacht werden, bevor man bei den Stationen Kuh-Läuten und Futterkrippe die eigene Balance testen kann. Der Ziegenbaum ist das letzte Hindernis bevor ihr auf der Kuh-Rutsche ins Ziel gelangt.
