Our efforts are focused on the strength and health of the grapes. We want to make wines full of character, individual and which are good for the connoisseur. We achieve this by using cellar technology sparingly, many years of experience and deliberately minimising grape harvests. Ultimately, our own senses of smell and taste decide what we offer our customers. We follow our work in the vineyard and cellar with the knowledge of the positive powers which are in a good authentic wine.

The range of 17 different wines, including award-winning wines such as "Dorado" and "Farnatzer", reflects the quality philosophy of our winery. As a member of the Association of South Tyrolean Quality Vineyards and the Association of Independent Winegrowers South Tyrol, we are convinced that great things can be achieved by working together.

Nestling around the splendid cathedral, encircled by proud, centuries old buildings, visitors are met by acolourful world of tempting scents and unique flavours. The traditional Christmas market of Brixen invites the visitors to taste numerous specialities of Brixen- Bressanone and the region.

The shops in the city centre of Brixen will be open also on weekends for your Christmas shopping.

A bit outside from the village Salorno, on a rock, you can see the magical Haderburg Castle, which inspired the name of our winery. In Pochi, above Salorno, the climatic conditions are perfect for a unique viniculture, whether we talk about white, red or sparkling wine.

The Isarco-Eisack Valley is the birthplace of the tradition of the Törggelen outings– hiking up to a farmhouse to enjoy grilled pork, roasted chestnuts, and just-fermented wine. This old tradition arose when the new wine was tasted by farmers and wine merchants between early October and early December. And at the Röck Estate Winery, this tradition has been right at home for a very long time. Along with the year’s new wine or also 750ml bottles from prior vintages, typical dishes and the farm’s own products are served. And no typical Törggelen evening at the Röck Estate Winery would draw to a close without a shot of schnapps or grappa. Konrad Augschöll discovered the passion and tradition of schnapps distilling many years ago, and he has made it a reality with an adventurous spirit.

• Cutting board of speck farmer’s bacon from the farm’s own hogs and homemade Graukäse aged Tyrolean gray cheese from skim milk
• First course trio (Schlutzkrapfen ravioli, Tyrolean Knödel cheese dumplings and spinach dumplings) or barley soup
• Meat plate (cured pork, homemade sausage, grilled pork ribs, sauerkraut) and potato fritters
• Sweet Villanders fritters with poppy seed, walnut, plum, lingonberry, or apple filling

The Röck Estate Winery is situated on the slopes of Villanders Mountain, in the northernmost winegrowing zone of Italy, the Isarco-Eisack Valley, which is internationally renowned for its white wines. As an estate winegrower in Alto Adige-South Tyrol, Konrad Augschöll works 3 hectares (7 acres) and produces typical Isarco Valley varieties on sandy soils mixed with slate. With the winegrowing, particular attention is paid to sustainable measures of care in order to bring healthy and ripe grapes into the winery.

Apart from the current collection of jewellery you can admire inside the showroom, you have the possibility to let "Schmuckwerk" manufacture your individually designed jewellery for you.

At our pet shop you will find accessories by Trixie, Camon, Tre Ponti, iMac and Fabalta. We sell hamsters, turtles, goldfishes and other domestic animals. In addition to this, you will find quality pet food for dogs and cats by Hill’s, Royal Canin, Happy dog/cat, Pro Plan and Farmina as well as tasty snacks by Trixie and Vitakraft and food for fishes and turtles by Sera.

It was in 1986, that Günther Maier - owner and manager - discovered his passion for fine wines and excellent grappas. Thanks to different trips around the world as well as several courses and seminars, Günther gained an insight in the varied world of wines, learned the specific characteristics of the different varieties and how to appreciate rarest grapes.

The company Reichegger produces wood carvings sculptures, sacred and profane art and sculptures, high quality. The wooden sculptures from Falzes are small, precious works of art.

Schöffel-LOWA now also in Schenna

Schenna is one of South Tyrol’s leading holiday destinations. Next to the old Lipper saw you will find the old forge of Valdaora. With a lot of heat produced by coal, the machine workes and since hudred of years the workers forged the whole day. Today you can visit the forge and imagine how hard they worked so many time ago.

Since 2 generations we present our customers with quality carvings. Our carvings are made by hand, so we attach great importance to the elaboration of each figure.
