Welcome! The Marxnkeller restaurant opened for the first time in 1981 and was run as a family business for 30 years. The restaurant was closed for 10 years and after renovation and redesign was reopened in July 2022. Combining tradition and modernity, we use high-quality, mostly farm-produced and local products in our innovative dishes.

For those who have known us for many years, our restaurant at Passo Campolongo is truly a must-visit! The strudels and polenta with venison from Senior Albina have become legendary in the Dolomites Passes. Anyone who has had the chance to taste them fondly remembers their flavor, texture, and aroma. The main feature of Monte Cherz is its tradition, evident in every detail, from the dining rooms to the bar. The restaurant offers classics of Ladin tradition, from the typical canederli with butter and smoked ricotta to the strudel with South Tyrolean apples, cinnamon, raisins, and pine nuts, all made according to traditional recipes. The restaurant / pizzeria Sonnleiten is located directly on the ski slope of the Pragser Tal ski lift.
