From the parking of Schneiderwiesen, follow trail no. 1 initially and then trail no. 6 to the right through the green woods until you come to trail no. 5 towards Titschenwarte, the Dolomite viewpoint, which can be reached in about 20 minutes. After a short break where you can admire the Sciliar/Schlern, the Catinaccio/Rosengarten group, the Latemar and the Pala di Santa/Zanggen leave the little house behind you and follow path no. 5A for a short distance, after a few minutes’ walk turn left following path no. 5B towards Monte Pozza/Titschen. Follow the cemented road and then trail no. 1 in the direction of Totes Moos. Turn right at the biotope and follow trail no. 1A, keeping the pond on the left and the forest road on the right. The little path leads up to the Sasso Rosso/Rotenstein overhang, where you can see the Adige Valley and the villages of Appiano/Eppan, Caldaro/Kaltern and Laives/Leifers. Return to the biotope on the same trail and then continue along trail no. 1 in direction Schneiderwiesen until the junction with trail no. 1B, which turns left and leads to the Parete Rossa/Rotwand viewpoint. Continue along trail no. 1B until it joins trail no. 1 that leads to Schneiderwiesen.
This hike lies under the motto alpine pasture to alpine pasture and hut to hut.Right at the beginning of the tour we ascend to the idyllic Wurzeralm.We continue past the Moschwandalm and the Maiser Alm past the Kreuzjöchl to the Meran hut.Here we can enjoy the wonderful view with a long rest.As far as the eye can see, to the south, east and west we can enjoy the unique mountain landscape of South Tyrol. Mölten, a village above Bozen, is embedded in the mountain meadows of one of the most beautiful plateaus in South Tyrol. It's the quiet center of this plateau called Tschögglberg at an altitude of 1,140 m. This place is definitely one of the most beautiful regions of South Tyrol with its wide high-level surfaces and invites the visitor to a relaxing hike.
The hike through meadows and forests from Mölten to Hafling is wonderful. The panorama is a pleasure for every hiker.
From Klaushof, follow signpost no. 5 in the direction Titschenwarte to reach the small lake with the old mill next to it. Continue along the forest road until you come to a stone staircase with a wooden handrail on your left. Climb up along the path, which enters a dense forest, and then venture further uphill between roots and rocks along the steep path. E5 to Colle dei Signori/Herrenkohlern, from where you can enjoy a wonderful 180° panorama of the Mendola/Mendel, San Genesio/Jenesien, the Forcella Sarentina/Sarner Scharte and Corno del Renon/Rittner Horn. The little church dedicated to St. Mary was built in 1744. Leave the E5 and descend left along trail no. 8 towards Röllhof. Follow trail no. 7 to return to Bad St. Isidor where you can enjoy a good lunch or a traditional snack.
From the playground, follow the E5 path towards Colle dei Signori/Herrenkohlern, from where you can admire a wonderful 180° panorama that sweeps from the Mendola/Mendel to San Genesio/Jenesien, the Forcella Sarentina/Sarner Scharte and the Corno del Renon/Rittner Horn. The little church dedicated to St. Mary was built in 1744. Pass the houses and walk along the forest road to the crossing with trail no. 6. Turn right and walk through the green woods until you come to path no. 5 in the direction of Titschenwarte, the wonderful viewpoint over the Dolomites, which you reach in about 20 minutes. After a short break admiring the Sciliar/Schlern, the Catinaccio/Rosengarten group, the Latemar and the Pala di Santa/Zanggen, leave the little house and follow path no. 5A towards Schneiderwiesen where you can enjoy lunch or a snack. Return to the cable car following trail no. 1.

The excursion is located very beautiful and you walk between green meadows and woods. It extends on a big part on the back of the altiplano "Tschöggelberg", from Avelengo to Lavenna, the highest point of the Salto.
The romanesque church St.Jakob on the Langfenn is positioned on the most visible and on the highest point of the Salto (1525m). The church stands on prehistoric ground and could tell us probabely many interesting and exciting historical things. On the altar we can see Saint Jakob, the protector of all hikers, and on his side the two Patrons of the pest, Rochus and Sebastian..
This beautiful hiking tour leads from Aldino to the place of pilgrimage "Maria Weissenstein/ Pietralba". We go past spectacular viewpoints and the mountain huts "Schmieder Alm" and "Schönrast Alm".
The Castle trail „Castelronda“ is about 20 km long and connects the castles and ruins of Bolzano, San Genesio and Terlano: Castle Roncolo/Runkelstein, Castle Rafenstein, Castle Grifo/Greifenstein (vulg. also called Castello del Porco, which means „Pork Castle“), Ruin Helfenberg and Castle Neuhaus (also called Maultasch). The efforts of hikers will be fully satisfied with magnificent views over the most beautiful castles and ruins of the region, in the middle of the nature.

The hikes on the „Castelronda/Burgenweg“ trail are especialliy recommended in spring, autumn and winter.
The Malga Ora trail initially winds its way downhill along a forest road, continuing on the flat section of the sprint track, which is ideal for an intense speed workout. Just past the Malga Capanna Nuova cabin, there are about 200 meters in altitude to overcome, after which the Malga Ora trail branches off to the left from the high route, descending to the starting point.
A line of chestnut groves extends from the abbey of Novacella/Neustift near Bressanone/Brixen all along the slopes of the Isarco Valley as far as the high plateau of the Rittner and down into the Bolzano/Bozen valley as far as Runkelstein castle with its fabled frescoes: the ideal route for the “Keschtnweg”. It should not only be thought of as an Autumn excursion though, because the landscape is extremely attractive all year round thanks to the diverse vegetation of the area.
First stage with starting point in Bolzano Bozen: from Roncolo castle to Auna di Sotto-Unterinn on the highplateau of Renon-Ritten
From the castle choose the way n. 2 and than follow the n. 2A until the cross path with the n. 6. Continue on the n. 6 until Signato-Signat and than proceed along the way n. 13 until the destination, Auna di Sotto-Unterinn.
From Klaushof follow the path nr. 3 first on an asphalted road and shortly afterwards on a footpath in the direction of La Costa/Seit, which leads to a wonderful viewpoint over Bolzano right below the Telecom antennas. Lunch possibility at Köhlhof (Saturday and Sunday). Cross the road and follow the stone path 3A up to Schneiderwiesen where you can stop for a break. From here, continue along trail no. 6 through the woodland until you reach trail no. E5. Take trail E5 towards Colle dei Signori/Herrenkohlern and return to the cable car.
From Gasthof Klaus follow the path no. 3 first on an asphalted road and shortly afterwards on a footpath in the direction of La Costa/Seit, which leads to a wonderful viewpoint over Bolzano right below the Telecom antennas. Lunch possibility at Köhlhof (Saturday and Sunday). Cross the road and follow the path no. 3, pass the little church of St. Henry and after Fritscher turn right towards Bolzano until you cross path no. 10A which leads to Virgolo/Virgl. The baroque Church of the Holy Sepulchre dating from the 17th century and the Church of St. Vigil with gothic frescoes depicting the story of Mary and St. Vigil can be visited on Wednesday afternoons from 3 to 4 p.m. From there you can walk down Via del Calvario/Kalvarienbergstraße to the centre of Bolzano.
Starting from the village center on Rathausplatz, where you will find the various facilities for all walks of life, walk along Gottschalkstrasse to Hof am Orth. This was formerly Altreis' court, which was allowed to decide about everything except life and death. Now go on to the Lochmannhöfe. Sitting on the cozy “bench” you can let your gaze wander over the Cembra valley, Monte Bondone and the Lagorai group. Via "Trotn" and Kreuzackerstr. Follow the marker 5 to get to the Pichl location. It is worth taking a look at Altreis unique roof landscape and the Lagorai mountain range. The path now leads you via Prof.-Alois-Zwerger-Straße to the old Brechelofen. Not so long ago the village women roasted and crushed their flax plants here, from which flax hair was then obtained for linen weaving. You can return to the starting point of the hike via Kanonikus-Michael-Gamper-Straße, from which you can also see the Guggal fraction.
This about 3 km long round trail is a child-friendly, creative and near-naturally designed contemplation trail!

Surrounded by larch forests and alpine meadows, the alpine restaurant Lanzenschuster is located on the northern part of the plateau Salten, above Flaas. The restaurant Lanzenschuster serves hearty home-made South Tyrolean specialities with regional products and home made products, like strudel with apple or cheese. During the summer often barbeques and live music are waiting for you, and for children a playground and a petting zoo are offered.

Arrival by own car at the public parking space of Cologna. Subsequently on the path n. 9 and n. 11 to the restaurant Noafer and then to the castle ruin Grifo/Greifenstein. (enter at your own risk!)
After visiting the castle ruin Grifo/Greifenstein, turn back to the path n. 9 and walk up to the farm Moar in Rumsein.
Between the restaurant Noafer and the farm Moar in Rumsein, exists a particular route (walking duration 1 hour), which is very suitable for buggies!
From the farm Moar in Rumsein, continue to the Restaurant Plattner, the high point of this hike.
From the restaurant Plattner, you can enjoy the incredible view overlooking the whole city of Bolzano and the beautiful Etsch/Adige Valley!
After this climax of hiking, you can turn back to the Car Parking space Cologna on the path n. 5.

This hiking tour will lead us through a pine wood to the idyllic Lake Göller, to the “Göller Spitz” (Peak Göller) and the “Rotwand”, a spectacular cliff with an amazing panoramic view of the South Tyrolean mountains and the Val d’Adige. On our way home we will see a ruin called “Burgstallegg” and one of the most beautiful biotopes in South Tyrol, the “Pigleider Moos”.
