The medieval cellar houses the fresh and tasty Bozner Bier, which is served directly to the tables in the antique “Stuben” on the three floor's restaurant. The Föhrnerhof Farm was first mentioned in records in 1135. The farm enjoys views across towards Bozen and over the Überetsch (Upper Adige) valley as far as the Unterland (Lower Adige) and allows insight into its long history. Yet, it likes to move with the times and the farmer Karin Bracchetti has long been a presence in the male-dominated world of winegrowing. From the start of February to the end of May open from Thursday to Sunday and on public holidays from midday. From the end of September to mid-December open from Thuesday to Saturday from 6.00pm. Bookings made for groups of at least 20 persons for Monday and Saturday and during lunchtime. Prior booking recommended.

The building was registered in the late 19th century as "house with courtyard and tavern". The restaurant business has always characterised the historic building which as early as 1786 proposed itself as an inn and retailer of traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. We can say that Casa al Torchio is the oldest restaurant in Bolzano. The restaurant offers today typical South Tyrolean cuisine and Italian gastronomic specialties created by the owners Ivan and Willy Waldner. Each dish is expertly structured to respect tradition with a touch of creativity and imagination. The restaurant has a capacity of about 90 seats, divided into 3 characteristic rooms on the 1st floor and 50 seats on the 2nd floor. In addition to lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy a good pizza. A selection of wines from the best local and national wineries and a selection of craft beers can accompany your dishes.
