A nice excursion in the mountains of the Natural Park of Fanes - Sennes - Braies an Pustertal Valley. The tour starts from the path n.20 of from the foresty road n. 20B up to the alpine refuge Brustalm, which is open for you in summer. From here go on on the path n. 20 in direction Franz Josefhöhe until the Kühwiesenkopf. Now an approvpriate mountain shoe is required to go through the way, that ends at the Kaserkopf. Reach the Hochalpenkopf across a glade toward sud.
Nice mountain hike with great views over the Puster Valley and the mountains of the Rieserferner-Ahrn nature park. Suitable only for trained hikers, sure-footedness is required.
From the Staller Saddle (2.050 m) > Oberseehütte (2.017 m) > proceed on the left to the Jägerscharte (saddle, belaying-securing with rope) > short ascent to the Almerhorn > back to the Jägerscharte > further on to the Barmerhütte partially going across glaciers > follow the mark n. 112 to the Riepenscharte (saddle, 2.764 m) > descent to the Lake Antholz (mark n. 39).
Outgoing from the Bad Bergfall Inn it goes for 2 h on the marks 32, 3A, & 3 on the Forcella Tredita (2329 m). From the Forcella it goes on mark 3 & 19 passing the Lake of Colli Alti direct to the Colli Alti Alp Hut. From there it goes over mark 32 passing the Forcella Lapadures back to Bad Bergfall. (Alternative track: ascent on the Mountain Tre Dita (2474 m)).
From Niederrasen to Oberrasen (culture house) > along the river > after approx. 1 km turn right on a country lane > further on northwards to the biotope (the moor area - an integral natural reserve with nature trail). This hike can also be started from Antholz Niedertal or Antholz Mittertal!
From Niederrasen (church) > path n. 21 (steep) > Obergoste > Feichter und Breitwiesenhof > Kirmlehof (approx. 10 min. further above Berggasthaus Mudler) > descend on mark n. 20 > path Imberg > Oberstallerhöfe > Niederrasen or Oberrasen.

A wonderful tour with magnificent panoramic views leads from the hamlet Ellen up to Astjoch (2,147 m). The one-hour climb from the car park at the Kreuznerhof (1,481 m) through the forest zones via the Walder Alm to the summit of the castle stables to 2,194 m. There is a magnificent panoramic view of the valley of Bruneck, the gleaming white peaks of the Rieserfernergruppe in the north and the hikeable plateaus of Lüsner Alm opens on almost flat roads hikers can enjoy here the magnificent alpine landscape with the picturesque Seeaugen located between Postal and Rastnerhütte spread. The Almbauern maintain the centuries-old tradition of animal husbandry and today also offer comfortable rest stops. These places were much earlier visited by Mesolithic hunters groups as evidenced by finds of flint tools. The vast, beautiful pastures invite you to wonder and linger. For an extensive rest, the comfortable mountain huts worth it in the strong-field hut or the Rastnerhütte. On the way back on the Lofa-Alm and Alm-Moa, the trail crosses the gorge of the Burger-brook, before the hikers on the forest comes back to the starting point in Ellen.
The 2,507 metres high Piz da Peres in the Valdaora Dolomites offers very beautiful views of the Plan de Corones and the entire Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park. Starting at the reservoir lake at Passo Furcia, first we follow the road nr. 3 for some metres until we branch off to the right, following trail no. 12B in the direction of the slope “Pre da Peres“. From there you follow the trail no. 12, which presents some steep rock stairs and is slightly exposed at some sections. Than you across beautiful meadow slopes and finally arrive at the peak cross. From here, we admire the ski mountain Plan de Corones in the North, the Dolomites and Mount Cima Tre Dita in the East and San Vigilio di Marebbe in the South-West.
On the way back you take the trail nr. 3. On many serpentines we go downwards through a scree slope, which can be slippery and difficult to pass after heavy rains or in case of snow. After the scree slope it goes up and down again over a forest trail until the starting point. Easy and sunny cross-country ski trail from Oberrasen to Antholz Niedertal. The artificial snow trail runs along the river next to the groomed winter hiking trail. Entry points are at the culture house in Oberrasen, at the Hotel Bad Salomonsbrunn and in the village center of Antholz Niedertal.
From Antholz Mittertal > Riederhof > Müllerkofel trail > Nösslerhof > forest path 500 m in direction Antholz Niedertal (not path n. 1) > forest path back to Antholz Mittertal until crossing trail "Geißsteig" > Burgegger mill > Riederhof > path n. 1 > Camping Antholz/Hofer > path n. 11 (Franzosensteig) > Antholz Mittertal.

The Sambock/Monte Sommo is the mountain of Pfalzen/Falzes and represents one of the most beautiful points of panoramic views in the whole holiday region Kronplatz/Plan de Corones.
The tour starts at Bagni Pervalle (1.320 m) in Sorafurcia. Take the path nr. 32 and pass the Jägerhütte di Valdaora. Take the path nr. 6 to the forcella del Col Vallaccia from here it goes down to the alp Lanzwiese. Once on peak follow again the path 6B that goes down again to Bagni Pervalle.
