The churches of St. Valentin in Greinwalden/Grimaldo, St. Cyriak in Pfalzen/Falzes, St. Nikolaus in Issing/Issengo and St. Johannes in Haselried represent special signposts. Following the annexation of Austria into Nazi Germany in 1938, the Saalen-Montal bunker was hastly designed to form part of the Vallo Alpino Littorio system of fortifications. It was constructed between 1939 an 1941.

Cross-country skiing is an alternative to skiing for many winter sports enthusiasts. Ath the foot of the Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, near the sports area in Riscone, a lovely circular trail goes through snow covered fields and meadows. The cross-country trail in Riscone is suitable for beginners as well as for advanced skiers.
There are 3 different slopes:
1. Cross country trail Reiperting - 2.2 km - easy; illuminated on tuesday, wednesday and friday until 8.30 p.m.
2. Cross country trail Reischach - 3.6 km - easy
3. Cross country trail Stefansdorf (complete round) - 5.5 km - easy

There are information panels telling about the influence of the four elements on the local people, nature and cultural landscape, highlighting their importance throughout history to the present day.

There is a great treasure trove of legends in the village of St. Lorenzen. In order to bring it to the attention of the community, the 3 km long Legend Trail was established. It is based on the collection of legends by the old master of Tyrolean legend research Johann A. Hezl. Pupils from the primary school designed the picture boards for the ten stations.
From Antholz Obertal > Müllerhof (Antholz Obertal) > at the "Müllerkreuzl" (cross) path n. 9 starts on the right side > crossing the river "Plötzlbach" > military path on the Grüblalm hut (2.038 m - not managed ad rest stop) > eventually continue to the Grüblscharte.
From Antholz Mittertal > Riederhof > path n. 1 until you reach the path n. 9 in Antholz Obertal.

A downhill hike along the eastern face of Mount Kronplatz – with plenty of extraordinary, all-round panoramic views.
A hike to Uttenheim’s local mountain, with panoramic view on Brunico, the Dolomites and the Alps of Zillertal. Tour recommended only for experienced hikers.
From the Biathlon center (parking area) > on the "Franzosensteig" marked n. 11 to Vorderpassler > Schwörzalm > Bergeralm > Klammbach waterfall > Eggerhöfe > Antholz Mittertal.
