CEO is a winery in South Tyrol’s Unterland – situated in the extreme south of South Tyrol. The loamy soils – conveyed here over the centuries by periodic flooding of the Etsch / Adige River until it was regulated – form the foundation for the cultivation of grapes yielding very refined, elegant white wines, but also full-bodied, heady red wines. By rigorously regulating the yield, we support natural processes in harmony with nature so as to grow grapes suitable for the production of great wines. We cultivate five different varieties of grape in our own vineyards located in the Unterland of South Tyrol.

For wine lovers, the owner Toni likes to take time to " talk shop " or for an interesting wine recommendation.

In the heart of Kaltern, right on the Market Square, the Café and pastry shop Laubencafè invites to linger and to enjoy sweet moments. A wide selection of home-made cakes and delicious ice cream produced with top quality products awaits you. We are also glad to serve fresh-pressed fruit juices, smoothies, snacks, sparkling aperitifs and much more.

Our rooms afford generous views across the sea of vineyards that make up the Überetsch valley and as stretch far as the provincial capital of Bozen-Bolzano.
