The cross-country skiing trail in Schmelz, starting at the Hotel Waldheim at 1520m, is a forest hiking trail. Here it is allowed to hike on the cross-country trail, to go sledding and dogs are also allowed, but must be kept on a leash.

The zigzag shaped Latschander irrigation channel path in between Laces and Castelbello was created in 1872/1873 and provides an ideal walk for the whole family. Those who wish to stroll along the entire irrigation channel trail should allow approximately 2.5 hours to do so.

Take the old path to the highest situated Nauderer Berghof Stables at over 1,816m on trail no. 25 and on to Novelleshof. Descent hiking trail No. 18. 3.5 hours walking time.
Starting point: Langtaufers/Kappl, parking lot former chair lift Maseben
Ascent: Ascent via the forest path or along the edge of the slope to the disused mountain station. There, continue in a southerly direction until the end of the anchor lift. In the middle of the valley continue to the foot of the mountain. Over the north slope you ascend at the beginning rather in the middle. Via Mulden you reach an even steeper slope, which is best walked up from left to right into a small gap. Over the west ridge, you walk to the summit on foot and later on skis again.
Hints: The tour requires a reasonable choice of route.
Descent: Along the ascent route. In optimal conditions, it is possible to ski down from the summit directly over the northern slope. It takes about 40 min to ski down.
Beautiful circular snowshoe hike across the Eisa meadows to the Matscher Alm.
It is best to take the challenging 20.5 km long tour of the Laces and Tarres Alpine pastures between early June and early October.
The snow park is divided into a beginners area, a medium kicker line and a pro-line for professionals. The beginner line has three kickers, between 3 and 6m. In addition, there is a butter-box and an industry flat-rail of 6m. 4 Tubes are on offer – what more could a passionate snowboarder want? These include a full Tube of 5m length and three Third Tubes of 4m length. Besides various jibs, the fun park also offers a brand new Funslope running along the entire area.

From the village square in Laas the promenade no. 16 westwards through the village, past the "Johannes Steinhäuser" school for stonecarving to the sports zone and the hill with the church - here offers a 360° panorama: Monte Sole mountain, Sesvenna group, Stelvio National Park, Lasa Valley with the Croda Jenne.
Monte Sole San Martino/ Sonnenberg St. Martin -Silandro/Schlanders This hike features unique panoramic views of the Val Venosta/Vinschgau Valley and Stelvio National Park. From Laces via the cable car to S. Martino in Monte. From the mountain cable car Station westwards, along the farm road to trail No. 14 towards Silandro. Passing the ruins of the Laggar and Zuckbühel farms and crossing the suspension bridge (70 meters long), it leads down the Tappein farm road and on to trail No. 14 to the Silandro Sport and recreational area. Alternative route: From the Tappein farm road, hikers can take trail No. 7 to Schlandersberg Castle and take the Ilswaal Irrigation channel path leading downhill to Corzes. This alternative route lengthens the hike by an 1 hour 30 min.
A beautiful but technically more demanding trail and mountain run that passes directly beneath the Ortler, Monte Zebrù and Königspitze triumvirate.
