Marvelous hike at the foot of mighty glaciers. This tour to Rifugio Nino Corsi, surrounded by the many three-thousanders of the Ortler Alps starts on the right hand side of Gasthaus Schönblick.
A walk through Silandro fascinates with the highest church tower in the country, marble, castle, art and nature.
From the Capuchin church in Silandro the tour leads past avimundus to the Plawennpark with the Freienturm Manor (town hall) and the marble stele of Martin Teimer, where already the parish church with tower and chapel can be seen. The historic buildings Sachsalber house (old court), parish residence and the frescoes at the Stainer house lead into the pedestrian zone to the marble fountain on the main square and the hospital church on Damml square. Behind it you reach the Schlandersburg castle with the Menhire exhibition through small alleys.
The walk leads above the state road into the fraction Corzes, with historic buildings and an elaborate marble fountain in front of St. John's Church.
Passing at the Drusus barracks and the station, through orchards, you head to the next Silandro fraction: Covelano with various marble sculptures and pillars. The square at the churches of St. Martino and St. Valpurga offers a picturesque backdrop: orchards in the valley, Schlandersberg Castle on the Monte Sole mountain and the mighty Zerminiger summit.

From Trafoi mountain village to Tuckettspitze peak. In the west of South Tyrol, home to the sprawling Ortler region, the little village of Trafoi is perched at an elevation of nearly 1,570 m. The charming surroundings and the pristine nature of Stilfserjoch National Park are ideal for hikes and tours of all kinds, with breathtaking panoramic views over the Alps drawing tourists and locals alike to the Trafoi glacier region year after year. The Casati hut is situated in the Ortles Cevedale group with the expandest glacier in Europe. The panorama is beautiful with a view of Val Martello, Solda and Val Cedec.
An attraction are the 3 World War I cannons, 20 min. from the hut.
The hut has 180 beds with rooms with 2, 4 and 6 beds.

This trail is mostly snow-free and offers a magnificent view of the opposite Monte Tramontana mountains with the Stelvio National Park and the snowy Ortler group.

While children experience the sense of adventure, adults can admire the splendor of the unspoilt landscape.
Beautifully situated on the Fallatschkamm ridge between the Stilfserjoch ridge and Val Müstair/Münstertal valley, the Piz Chavalatsch mountain (2,763 m) offers one of the best viewpoints in all of the Vinschgau/Val Venosta valley. The tour that leads to Piz Chavalatsch is very popular and highly recommended, as it is both one of the easiest and most beautiful: it is a rewarding mountain hike that presents no real difficulties worth mentioning. Next to the summit cross is a former Italian customs hut that now serves as a relay station for amateur radio enthusiasts in the Vinschgau valley. The trails are very gentle and there are no exposed or difficult sections. Because the described route is on the sunny side, ascending during the hottest part of the day should perhaps be avoided.
These wetlands, known as Schludernser Au or Schludernser Erlenwaldbiotop alder biotope became a protected site in 1976 and cover an area of about 140 hectares. These meadowlands are the biologically most productive habitats with the greatest biodiversity. The education trail through alder woods, ponds, natural streams and rough gravel with 12 information boards in the Natura 2000 region, a veritable treasure trove of life and a refuge for endangered animals and plants.
At the Rif. Serristori/Düsseldorferhütte in Solda, everyone will find that special something. The small playground, the bridge over the small lake next to the hut and the raft on the mountain lake further back, made of local wood, ensure lots of fun for young and old. The Reinstadler family has been serving their guests at the Rif. Serristori for 5 generations. Great value is placed on local products from South Tyrol and, depending on availability, from their own home farm in Solda. The hike offers a wonderful view of the triumvirate of Ortler, Cevedale and Zebrù.
Take a shuttle bus to the Pardatschhof farm at Montetrumes. Follow path n. 4 upwards to Malga Stierberg.

Upon reaching the summit, you are rewarded with a truly unique view.
The Dossobello di Dentro/Hintere Schöneck is a beautiful mountain tour of about 12.5 km length. Arriving at the summit of the Dossobello di Dentro, especially the view of the Königsspitze, Zebru and Ortler is unique. For this relatively easy mountain tour, however, surefootedness and a good head for heights are necessary.
From Rojen across the animal gathering path up to the last larch stand, valley inwards on a slightly ascending path to the Mitter-Scharte and finally over a steep ridge to the summit.
The hiking trail to the Malga Vitelli/Kälberalm is a beautiful hiking trail of about 6.3 km length. The path runs evenly, with almost no difference in altitude and has a breathtaking panorama. The Malga Vitelli is also the starting point for the hikes to the Dossobello di Dietro and the Rifugio Serristori.
The via ferrata Tabaretta is one of the most difficult and impressive in Europe. The via ferrata has many steep passages and not so many resting places. The mountain scenery and the perfect view of the Ortler north face is priceless, which is why this tour is a must.
At the entrance to the Münstertal valley lies the Tellakopf, a pleasant hiking peak that is also ideal for an easy ski tour. This rewarding tour destination offers breathtaking views of the Vinschgau Valley, the Münstertal Valley, the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Mountains.
The Saurüssl tour starts above Lasa/Laas. Head over Alpine pastures to the forest edge and over rugged terrain to the peak with the original marble cross. The real charm of the peak is the panorama. The view extends across the Upper Vinschgau valley including the following mountains and peaks: the Vinschger Sonnenberg, the Jennwand, the Laaser Spitze, the Schluderspitze, the Lyfispitze, the Laaser Ferner and the Taitschroi in the distance. The tour requires stamina and sure-footedness.
