Excursion with the forest rangers of the Stelvio National Park in Val d'Ultimo.
Starting from the end of September, with the return of autumn, the roar of the red deer echoes through the forests of the Stelvio National Park. Well covered from the evening cold and with a bit of luck, you will not only hear the animals but also have the chance to observe them.

From Obereggen we take the Oberholz lift to the top and then hike over the Gamsstallscharte to the Latemar Hut. In the afternoon we take the lift back to Obereggen. Return journey by bus (stop for refreshments en route).

Approach from Stuls/Stulles to the Rafeinhof farm. Follow the original trail called "Jaufenkamm" no. 16 through the forest and across mountain meadows to the summit with ist panoramic views of the Ötztal, Stubai, Sarntal und Zillertal Alps. The descent follows the same path.

Welschnofen/Nova Levante, Dolomites Region Eggental

The bus takes us up from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to the Adler bus stop. From there we hike to the Staldalm farm, where we are offered a picturesque view of the alpine pastures and mountain landscape of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. Via path [27] we return to the bus stop from where we started the hike. Return to Welschnofen | Nova Levante by bus.
The soothing and relaxing atmosphere of the forest gives us the opportunity to rediscover the "fascination" of nature, recharge our batteries and free ourselves from the negative thoughts that are constantly buzzing around in our brains. We learn to relax again, to see, hear, feel, smell and taste.
As we walk mindfully through the forest, we do thought exercises, recharge our lungs with oxygen, find centuries-old trees like the "snake tree" that have been growing in magical places for 600 to 700 years and are full of positive energy. We breathe in the pure air and hike free of thoughts and stress with pure joy of life.

Wine Festival at the festival ground of Tramin organized by the soccer club. You are invited to taste many typical dishes, served up with good live music and excellent wines from the local wineries.

When summer slowly draws to a close, the farmers bring their cows, calves, and sheep down from the mountain pastures. The reception in the valley is a celebration for everyone!

At the end of September, the animals return from their summer retreat. After months of gorging themselves on lush Alpine meadows and recharging their batteries in the sun for the winter, cows and calves, sheep, and lambs migrate from the mountain to the valley. There, the numerous spectators await the festively decorated animals.
But only with traditional music, in good company, and South Tyrolean specialities is the Alpine transhumance complete. Enjoyment and fun are well taken care of!
The Dolomites Medium Delicious Trail is a foot race along the paths of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, about 35 km with 1,900 metres of positive difference in altitude, starting from the centre of La Villa in front of the tourist office.
Maximum time: 9 hours.
From the centre of La Villa, the route follows for a stretch the Path of the Artists and leads to San Cassiano. There begins the ascent along the Altin ski run to the iconic Gran Risa and Piz La Villa, crosses the Armentarola area and the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. From there, the path takes the runners up to Mt. Lagazuoi at an altitude of 2,778 m, followed by the descent to the finish line at Pocol, for a total of around 35 km and 1.900 metres of elevation gain: pure pleasure!
There are wonderful refreshment points along the Alta Badia route, which have been set up by Team Delicious, where you can take a break and enjoy quality products and local specialities.
Thousands of runners, from more than twenty countries around the world, have participated in the event in recent years on the trails that witnessed the historical events of the First World War.

At the end of September, it’s that time again – the village of Colle in Val Casies Valley invites you to the traditional Keila Kirschta! The festivities kick off on Saturday with the ceremonial raising of the Kirschta Michl tree, followed by a lively evening with live music and a fantastic atmosphere in the festival tent. The highlight of the weekend is Sunday’s grand parade and cattle drive. Beautifully adorned animals, magnificently decorated festival wagons, and the solemn procession of marching bands turn the village into a vibrant stage of tradition and culture. Meran’s Racecourse will offer a richly diverse culinary programme, including a tasty preview of the Merano WineFestival.
A year full of sunshine, wind and water is being pressed and cellared from the grapes on the southern slopes of Castelbello during these autumn days. This new wine needs to be tasted! The farmers' wives serve it with sausage, dumplings and sauerkraut. There is also a batch of roasted chestnuts on the table. This is Törggelen!

Program: Starting at 10:00 AM, morning pint with Bohemian music and the youth music group "Musig Unlocked" (young musicians from Algund, Gratsch, Tscherms, and Marling). Afterwards, from 2:00 PM, "Törggelen" afternoon with another live music group.

The Just for fun run is not a competition and therefore there is no timekeeping, scoring or award ceremony. A medical certificate is not required and there is no minimum age for participation.
The start of the half marathon and the finish for all races is located on the grounds of the riding arena near the soccer pitch in Jenesien. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity.
The start of the Soltnrun and the Just for fun run is directly at the Salten approx. 600m above the Gasthof Edelweiß and can only be reached on foot. The path from the event area to the start is marked and is ideal for warming up before the race.
After the start of the half marathon at 10 a.m., the participants of the Soltnrun and the Just for fun run will be called and can make their way to the start in a group.
The top three finishers in all categories will receive non-cash prizes.
Luggage transportation: Luggage transportation from the start to the finish is provided for the Soltnrun and the Just for fun run.
Catering: There will be refreshment posts along the course and at the finish.
Starting gift: All participants will receive a starting gift.
Changing rooms, WC and showers: Provided that the regulations in force at the time of the event allow it, changing rooms, WCs and showers will be provided.

In Schenna, South Tyrol's "fifth season" is celebrated with the Törggele afternoons at the Raiffeisen Square.
Various stalls offer South Tyrolean specialities to taste and buy. Of course, roasted chestnuts and new wine, the so-called Sußer, are not to be missed.
Musical accompaniment is also provided!
The autumn custom of Törggelen has a centuries-old tradition in South Tyrol. After the successful harvest in autumn, the farmers of the area met and celebrated with new wine, cabbage and smoked meat, doughnuts and chestnuts. To this day, Törggelen is considered by South Tyroleans to be an expression of conviviality and joie de vivre. Traditional Törggelen at the village fountain in the centre of Naturno from 14.30 - 17.30 with roasted chestnuts, new wine and music.
In October a flea market takes place at the same time at the town hall square from 9 am - 5 pm.

A true adventure on the sunny plateau: the autumnal custom of "Törggelen" is a delight for visitors and locals alike. Understandably, for it is the ideal combination of exercise in the fresh air and culinary delights. After a hike across the colourful high plateau of Naz-Sciaves with our guide, we stop at a typical farm, where specialities from the Isarco Valley are served.*
