The Church of St. Andrew in Antlas/Lengstein can be visited freely on the second and third Saturday of each month between April 1 and November 15, 2025, from 10-12 a.m., Admission free, voluntary donations for the church are welcome. One of the notable depictions is that of Saint Christopher carrying Christ on his shoulders. The church stands majestically above the Eisack Valley, almost directly above the Eisack Gorge. It is visible from afar and is built on a site that once hosted prehistoric places of worship or settlements, which were later transformed into a Christian sanctuary

On the spring tour, participants experience the nature. Through the flowering orchards you will learn all about the nature. It will be tasted Nalser dishes. There is a white wine of the winery Nals Margreid. Registration: free

Registration required until the day before: Tel. +39 340 1576679 The Perlhof is a small winery run by Max Thurner and his family. It is located in Oberleitach in the St.-Magdalen region. With a lot of manual work and great passion, the grapes are gently processed and wines full of character are produced.

In the area of Lichtenstern/Wolfsgruben are mysterious forest paths as well as special view points, lakes and power places, created to find your own balance. Enjoy wine along rustic farms and vineyards. Along the way, our winemakers tell about their work and explain interesting facts about wine and viticulture. Wines from our famous wineries are tasted in the middle of the vineyard. The tour ends with a typical South Tyrolean “Marende” snack in a private wine cellar. Immerse yourself in the world of wine and get to know the everyday life of winemakers!

The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. Additional tours: in August also on Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants: minimum 4 and maximum 20 people Registration deadline: one day before by 5:00 p.m.

One of the most beautiful and panoramic routes to this spectacular panoramic mountain in the Merano region is via the Heini Holzer via ferrata. The 550-metre climb is perfectly secured with 1000 metres of steel cable and is of medium difficulty (A - B - B/C). Under the expert guidance of a certified mountain guide, you conquer the impressive passages on the rugged rock faces of Ifinger peak. Via ferrata beginners and families with children from the age of 14 who enjoy walking and climbing will find here a feasible sporting challenge and enjoy an unforgettable experience!

Since the time of the Romans, wine has been cultivated on the sunny slopes of the Wipptal. Today, 2000 years later, there are once again some pioneers who utilize the milder climate for viticulture. Peter Faistnauer is one of them; he operates the first winery in the Wipptal. Since 2015, he has been cultivating the white wine variety Solaris. After visiting the vineyards, the special wine will be tasted in the old barn. Dogs are not allowed. It is not possible to navigate the paths with a stroller, and the entire tour is not wheelchair accessible. Every Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., the farmers' market takes place on the town hall square in Nalles/Nals with fresh produce from farmers in Sirmian/Sirmiano and Nals/Nalles.

Language: German & Italian We meet at 10 am at Klobenstein station. We take bus 165 to Unterinn. From here we hike to Signat and along the new wine hiking trail "Rebe" to Bolzano. The sunny mountain slope from Bozen up to the Ritten is one of the finest wine-growing areas in South Tyrol. Along the wine steps, the 10 artistic installations offer a fascinating glimpse into the culture of wine production. From Signat the trail leads downhill through the gently rolling vineyards to the viewing platform with its magnificent views of Bozen, then on to the Loosmannhof, to the settlement of St. Justina and down to Rentsch in the historic wine-growing estate of Ansitz Waldgries. The same route leads back uphill from Bozen to Signat.

A collection of the traditional costume "Rittner Tracht" from the 18th century to the present day. On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4–6 p.m. in the historic Commandery Lengmoos. Last entry: 5.30 p.m., Admission: € 4, free with RittenCard. The traditional costume has a long tradition on the Ritten/Renon, which is still cultivated by associations and organisations today. It is very important for us to preserve this living cultural asset for the future and make it accessible to a broad public.

On Wednesdays and Fridays from 4-6 p.m., the historic Kommende Lengmoos opens its doors for visits (without a guided tour). last entry: 5.30 p.m. Cost: € 4, free with RittenCard. The original building of the Commandery Lengmoos dates back to the early 13th century. At the time, all across the region, pilgrim hospices were built to cater to pilgrims on their journey to Rome and provide for the poor. And so, a hospice was erected at the Saint Ulrich Pass in Lengmoos

ONLY FOR CHILDREN AGED 9 TO 14 YEARS OLD! It's high up for children aged 9 to 14 in the Skytrek in Sterzing. Climbing, swinging, balancing on ropes, and more are on the program. Fenn, Gaiderin, and Kematen – The History and stories behind Field Names around Klobenstein with Expert Johannes Ortner. Meeting point: 10 a.m. at Klobenstein train station/goat. Duration: 5 hours, bring a picnic in your backpack. Hiking price: €15, free with RittenCard. Language: German & Italian. On this hike around Klobenstein, we will discover old field names such as Fenn, Gaiderin, and Kematen, which reveal much about the rich linguistic history of Ritten. However, these names also hold clues about past agricultural activities, local vegetation, and even prehistoric times. Field names often reflect how people perceived and categorized their surroundings. Ethnologist and name researcher Johannes Ortner will provide further insights into these and other local peculiarities. Registration with the tourist office by 5 p.m. the day before.

Visit to the fire brigade helmet museum in the Hotel Burgfrieden. We than walk to Neuhaus Castle, get some information about the history and visit the castle church (only in German and Italian language). Break at the castle pub with some drinks and returning to the starting point in the light of the laterns. Not suitable for toddlers and prams!
