Join us on a guided winter hike to the rustic Freundalm above Telfes at 1,700 metres above sea level. On the hike across the sunny side of the valley, we learn all sorts of exciting facts about the miners who once lived here and their history. A delicious South Tyrolean aperitif awaits us at the Freundalm.

In the evening, the snow-covered landscape of wintertime Deutschnofen has a magic all its own. The moon and stars make the snowy slopes sparkle – if the sky is cloudy, we simply bring along some torches to light our way during our romantic nighttime stroll. Meeting place: Always at 6:00 p.m. at the Deutschnofen Tourist Agency. The 4-km-long tour involves 200 meters of altitude differential and takes about two hours. Christmas Mass on Monte San Vigilio, San Vigilio church, from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Last ride on the chairlift at 5.00 pm. The cable car takes you back down to the valley every half hour until 11.00 pm. The following restaurants are open on this evening: Gampl, Sellellift, Seespitz.

THE GUIDE IS ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! An unforgettable winter hike through the idyllic Videgg/Viadacqua-Hirzer hiking area. Discover this stunning winter terrain on an organised snowshoe hike with guide. After reaching Videgg by bus from Schenna/Scena, our hike starts along the forest road, through the snow-covered forest looking out on a majestic mountain panorama to the Videgger Asse pastures and back. This winter hike maximises the experience of this pristine terrain, our snowshoes enabling us to move across the snow with little effort. The total elevation gain is approximately 400 m, and the hike lasts about 3 hours. For lunch we stop at a cosy mountain inn in Videgg to enjoy a taste of the sumptuous local fare. After this well-deserved break we make our way back to Schenna in the early afternoon. Throughout our snowshoe hike, we are accompanied by experienced mountain guide, Elisabeth Unterthurner.
