The hosts of the Feltuner Hütte, the Gasthof Pemmern and Gasthof Unterhorn each invite a guest chef to create a special dish with Rittner products. The starting signal to fourteen days indulgence in the snow turns out spectacularly: on Saturday, 25 January all cooks, farmers and wine producers will be present personally on the huts and present their creations to the guests. Experience the idyllic winter landscape of the Tschamin Valley on a guided snowshoe hike. Tour Description: We start the hike at the parking area of the cable car station in St. Zyprian (Tiers) and ascend to Runggun to the snowshoe gate. We continue across the Doss meadows into the Tschamin Valley, reaching the Rechter Leger. In the past, smuggling took place over the Kalksteinjöchl (2349 m). Today, this crossing into the Villgraten Valley in East Tyrol is a popular destination for hikers in summer and ski tourers in winter. After 820 meters of elevation gain, the Kalksteinjöchl is reached. Those who want to climb higher can ascend from there to the Gail. The summit cross at 2494 meters is reached with an additional 120 meters of elevation. The rest of the group can use the 30 minutes to rest and catch their breath. No refreshment stops available. The Plätzwiese high plateau in the Pragser Tal Valley is a high plateau at 2000 m, easily accessible by car. From the parking lot, you can already see two of the three possible ski tour destinations: the Picco di Vallandro (2839 m) and the Pyramid (Crepe di Val Chiara 2711 m). The third ski tour, right in the heart of the Hohe Gaisl, the Pinscharte at 2565 m, can only be glimpsed from the refuge Plätzwiesenhütte. An insider tip of the first order is the Blütenhöfefest on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in which 15 traditional farms in Lana, Völlan, St. Pankraz and Tscherms take part. Visitors will get to know historic farms and artistic residences in an enjoyable way and savour typical farm products on site. Visitors who are fit enough to walk follow well-signposted hiking trails and hike from farm to farm, while those who are more leisurely can take the free shuttle buses to the farms from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Please note: Not all courtyards are suitable for coaches (50-seater). Due to limited parking facilities, certain farms can only be reached by a small shuttle or on foot. After the start at the Trostburg Castel in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena the tournament goes on with four stages: at the Kofel/Mount Calvary in Kastelruth takes place the traditional ring jousting.
