Between 6.00 pm and 12.00 pm the descent and the slope "Hexenschuss" up to 1.800 m above sea level (=mountain station K1) are exclusively reserved for ski tourers! Even some of our ski huts leave their doors open for the ski tourers!

Taufers Castle - the largest castle complex in the province of South Tyrol. Once a week you can walk with lanterns through the winter night landscape up to the mighty walls and let their medieval flair take effect - inside and outside. An inspiring tour (in German or Italian language) with interesting details from history and present, from the Middle Ages and modern times. Followed by a warm-up with a hot drink.

Every Tuesday, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., the K-Express cable car takes you up to 1,600 meters. Up there, a 5-kilometer-long, illuminated toboggan run is waiting for you to ride it. Plunge down the piste on two runners and enjoy the night sky all the way down into the valley. A unique experience for young and old!

Spring concert of the traditional music band Luttach in the multi-purpose building in Luttach/Ahrntal valley

The Ahrntal municipal administration, in cooperation with the Ahrntal Tourist Association, the Ahrntal school district and the voluntary fire brigades, invite all villagers to take part in the "Clean Village" campaign.

Estimated duration 2 hours, rubbish bags and gloves will be provided, the rubbish will be picked up by a vehicle from the building

With the cablecar Speikboden and the chairlift Sonnklar it goes up to 2.400m, right in the middle of the Ahrntal valley mountains. Once arrived at the top, you have the opportunity to hike to the Sonnklar Cross, which is 10 minutes away, or you can hike tot he Speikboden cross, which is easily reached on foot in 30 minutes. Attention: If the weather is bad, the event will be posponed to another day! This decision will be made the day before at 4pm.

Discover the midday air - Your time to breathe

Climb aboard the mine railway and let yourself be carried leisurely into the mountain. Once you arrive in the Climate gallery area, an atmosphere of tranquility awaits you: gentle sounds and soothing music accompany your relaxation. Wrapped in warm blankets and with a hot water bottle, you can lean back while a herbal tea warms you from the inside. Take time to breathe in and savour the pure, cool tunnel air.

The special microclimate underground - cool, moist and pure - supports your airways and helps you to switch off completely. Even chronic respiratory illnesses such as asthma, bronchitis or sinus problems can be noticeably alleviated.

Take a breather - in the heart of the mountain. Price: €19.00, Duration: 1h15min Times: Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 1pm; Please come to the location at least 20 minutes prior to your booked time slot. Warm clothes are required and sturdy footwear for the entry into the gallery is recommended. Helmets and raincoats are provided by the Museum. Access to the Climate gallery is only permitted in clean slippers or trainers/shoes. Please bring a clean change of shoes. Upon request, the museum will provide felt slippers free of charge.
