Terme Square with its Sky-Bar and ‘Kugln’ fits harmoniously into the picture of the markets. In addition, it is now customary on the Terme Square to slip on your skates and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere from the skating rink, surrounded by a nativity scene to the delight of everyone, adults and children alike.

Torchlight hike to the Jaufenburg castle. Followed by a small drink with musical accompaniment by the choir "Liertr 4-Xong". Return to the starting point on foot or by shuttle. There is the possibility to visit the Jaufenburg castle indoors.

At the Schenna/Scena ice rink, the AS Merano ice dance team put on an impressive show. Immerse yourself in a wonderland of elegance, choreographed skating, and dazzling performances on ice. The talented AS Merano figure skaters are sure to take your breath away – promising an unforgettable experience. The Schenna ice skating rink is open to the public until 4 pm enabling you to make a few turns of your own (rental skates available).

THE GUIDE IS ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! An unforgettable winter hike through the idyllic Videgg/Viadacqua-Hirzer hiking area. Discover this stunning winter terrain on an organised snowshoe hike with guide. After reaching Videgg by bus from Schenna/Scena, our hike starts along the forest road, through the snow-covered forest looking out on a majestic mountain panorama to the Videgger Asse pastures and back. This winter hike maximises the experience of this pristine terrain, our snowshoes enabling us to move across the snow with little effort. The total elevation gain is approximately 400 m, and the hike lasts about 3 hours. For lunch we stop at a cosy mountain inn in Videgg to enjoy a taste of the sumptuous local fare. After this well-deserved break we make our way back to Schenna in the early afternoon. Throughout our snowshoe hike, we are accompanied by experienced mountain guide, Elisabeth Unterthurner.

On December 28th, the acoustic duo "7times Easy" with Marlene and Andreas from Merano will transform the Algund Christmas Market into a truly special atmosphere. With their voices and acoustic arrangements, the duo brings the warm sound of Soul, Blues, and Oldies to the stage in a charming way – along with their own interpretations of beloved evergreens. The musician will perform a series of musical performances during the Merano Christmas Market. Along the Passer Promenade, he will contribute to creating an attractive musical atmosphere.

From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Get ready for a unique musical experience with the Cicci Bagnoli Quintet! This band, made up of musicians who have played with Italian music legends such as Vasco Rossi, Zucchero and Biagio Antonacci, brings a mix of overwhelming energy and extraordinary talent to the stage. Each performance is a fusion of intense sounds, with rock, blues and soul influences, that will captivate any audience.

New Year's Eve Aperitif with the Tonal Acoustic Duo at the Algund Christmas Market On December 31st, starting at 11:00 a.m., a musical highlight awaits you at the Algund Christmas Market! The Tonal Acoustic Duo, featuring Claudia and Wolfi, is known for its harmonious vocals and musicality. With a wide-ranging repertoire from soft ballads to pop and rock tunes, they’ll create the perfect atmosphere for a cozy New Year's Eve aperitif. Enjoy the relaxed ambiance with a drink in good company – the ideal start to a festive New Year's morning! From 10:00 p.m., the Goaslschnöller will treat visitors to mulled wine from a wood-fired stove, delicious New Year's snacks, and hearty goulash soup. The evening will feature classic hits from the '60s to the '90s.

Let's say goodbye to 2024 and welcome the new year 2025! The celebrations begin in the late afternoon of New Year's Eve with concerts and events for the whole family. At the stroke of midnight, two open-air venues offer space for New Year's Eve celebrations: at Theaterplatz, Radio Deejay will be providing for the young audience: DJ Shorty plays, supported by DJ Pat. The stage on upper Corso Libertà features live music from Maranga's Band that plays classics from yesterday and today into the young night of the new year.

The gastronomie Stands are Open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Amid the warm glow of countless candles and lanterns, pianist Enzo Weber will perform a unique piano concert from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. At midnight, fireworks will illuminate the sky over Lana.
