Traditional autumn market with regional products of the harvest season. Food, drink and music are well provided for! In addition to local regional products, high-quality handicraft products as well as typical market items are offered. This market has been held in Prad every year on 21 September since the 19th century.

Once again this year, for the thirteenth time, one stage of the European Championships in Prehistoric Archery and Atlatl will be held in the Schnalstal Valley. In the area where Ötzi once went hunting, archers and spear throwers from the different countries of Europe will meet... Event organized by archeoParc Schnalstal.

A year full of sunshine, wind and water is being pressed and cellared from the grapes on the southern slopes of Castelbello during these autumn days. This new wine needs to be tasted! At the end of September, the rutting of the Red deer begins in the Stelvio National Park. Dressed warmly, we listen to the roaring of the male deer echoing through the autumn forests. With any luck, we may also observe them.

In Prato allo Stelvio, ancient customs and traditions are experienced like in few other places in South Tyrol. "Zusslrennen" and "Machgertanz" in carnival, the "Goaßlschnölln" group and the famous "Tuifl" devils of St. Nicholas in December are just a few examples of the village's cultural specialities. The entire variety of living traditions and ancient costumes will be brought closer to visitors during the seventh festival of tradition and taste, to be held on 5 October 2025. The Tourist Association of Prato, together with the participating associations, invites you to participate in a colourful programme of events as part of the festival. From local and regional customs to culinary delights, a large craft and gourmet market, open kitchen, bowling alley, harmonious music and much more, there is much for festival visitors to see and experience. The festival starts at 9.30 a.m. with a morning pint in the main square of Prato.

The Taufers market - small, cosy and good The traditional autumn market in Taufers in Münstertal is back. It will take place again on 11 October 2025 at the Fliri Dane square in the village centre. The Gollimarkt is a traditional market that takes place on October 16 (St. Gallus' Day) in the center of Mals. The Gollimarkt was established together with the Georgimarkt in 1642 on the occasion of the elevation of the village to a market town by Archduchess Claudia de' Medici. This year the colorful autumn market offers farm products, handicrafts and art!

For more than half a century, the "Nikolauskommitee Schlanders" has been introducing the old South Tyrolean tradition of St. Nicholas parade. Passing the retirement home and the hospital, St. Nicholas runs with his carriage through the center to the Plawennpark, where the celebration ends. During the Advent time there is a pre-Christmas atmosphere in Silandro. On the weekend mid December the annual Christmas market takes place. Venosta hobby artists and craftsmen as well as local and Italian producers offer handmade gift ideas, traditional crafts and local products.
