The Panoramaweg trail runs along the Höfeweg farms trail from St. Georg/S. Giorgio to the Antoniuskapelle chapel in Hinterafers/Eores di Dentro, across the sunny south-facing slopes of the Plose above the Afererer Tal Valley overlooking Brixen/Bressanone.

From the Hotel Monte Paraccia the route signed “Torpëi › A Sorëdl” leads up to the drinking water reservoir. Continue right across a beautiful woodland path to Ciamaor. From there you return to San Vigilio on the path of legends

Martinsweg trail is an easily accessible, newly laid circular route named after the small Church of St. Martin, which is located close to the Eggerhöfe farmsteads.
Relaxing walk by the refreshing waters of the Gadera stream and through shady conifer woods, sloping gently uphill from La Villa to the enchanting village of San Cassiano at the feet of the Lavarela and Conturines peaks.
The "Tru di artisć", as the path of the artists is called in Ladin, is an open-air gallery that was inaugurated in summer 2011 and is regularly enriched with artworks by various artists from the Ladin valleys. The starting point of the exhibition is in La Villa in the neighbourhood of Altin. The approximately 3.5 km long path is closed to motorised traffic and winds along the Gadera River to the Museum Ladin Ursus ladinicus in San Cassiano.
As among the various artistic forms, poetry plays an essential role in addition to sculpture several panels have been erected along the path in this regard, presenting verses in Ladin language.
Setting off from the chapel in Picolin, walk across the bridge and past the historic building Ciasa dl Maier. Head north along the forest road (no. 22) through the Plaies forest for about 5 km and then take the paved road to Marebbe. There, turn left and follow the roadside pavement to Longega. Return along the same route.
The easy hike through woods and meadows leads to the Häusler Sam hut, which is situated on a meadow surrounded by forest. The trail brings hikers close to the alpine nature of the "Sam Hill". A stop at the Häusler Sam hut is worthwhile to taste one of the many typical dishes of South Tyrolean cuisine, to rest on the lawn or to admire the many animals such as llamas, donkeys, cows or ponies.
In winter some sections of the route may be covered in snow or ice.
This excursion follows the old railway line of the Val di Fiemme. This railway line was built during the First World War and between 1918 and 1936 was mainly used for freight traffic. The walk winds along the sunny slope, among lovely vineyards. This panoramic tour is particularly worthwhile for the wonderful views over the Bassa Atesina.
This hike will take you from San Cassiano to the Malga Valparola alp - closed during summer 2024, a historic site, where the mineral extracted in Livinallongo was transported, melted and transformed into iron. The ruins of the melting furnaces are now abandoned and in pieces. Today, only the German hut’s name “Eisenöfenalm“ (Hut of the Iron Furnaces), serves as a reminder of the economic prosperity, now long gone but once enjoyed by this extraordinarily picturesque place.
Starting at the Plose gondola lift mountain station, follow the Lorggenring trail along the WoodyWalk before it branches off at a wide viewing platform. Stop for a minute and enjoy the view of the Dolomites before continuing into a dense woodland. Along the way, hikers learn about the Lorggen, ancient guardians of the forest and its inhabitants. From the Pfannspitz gondola lift valley station, you can quickly arrive at an elevation of 2,545 m. The view of the spectacular Geißler peaks and the surrounding mountains is absolutely phenomenal! Follow the trail along the ridge to the Plosehütte shelter, from where you can return to Kreuztal at the Plose gondola lift mountain station along trails no. 7 and then no. 3. This part of the circuit offers a magnificent panorama of the Brixen basin. The Lorggenring Hiking Circuit is also accessible to families with children, offering hikers of all ages a unique hiking experience on the slopes of the Plose.
This short family hike is educational, exciting and fun, with several outdoor recreational opportunities to offer. Accessible to prams and strollers, this hiking trail on the Plose has magnificent views of the western Dolomites, particularly the striking Peitlerkofel and rocky peaks of the Geisler Group.

GRAN JU TRAIL (1650 m, H-R 50 min.)
The Gran Ju circular trail is very easy and at the same time scenically interesting with beautiful views of the Val Badia, Monte Pütia and St. Martin. The route is also particularly suitable for families with small children and prams.
The circular trail starts at the mountain station of the Piz de Plaies lift on Col dl'Ancona and leads to the hamlet of Gran Ju, from where a pleasant forest path leads back to Col dl'Ancona.
The „Badl im Mühlbacher Talele“ is the highest spa in the Puster valley. It is situated in the beautiful national park Rieserferner, about 1700 m above sea level.
The three Holy Fountains in Trafoi are situated in a small chapel, which has been a place of pilgrimage for the Virgin Mary since the 15th century. The way to the place of pilgrimage is about 2.5 km long and always runs evenly, so it's suitable for baby strollers. In addition, the beautiful path to the Holy three Wells is accessible all year round.
Either from the village square via Valiares or from the Aqua Bad Cortina Oasis Hotel, follow the Tres La Val trail up to the Spiaggetta Ciamaor park. Heading towards Tres La Val, walk on the right side of the stream starting from the Spiaggetta Ciamaor park and continue on to the next bridge just before Lé dla Creda. From there, it is another 10 minute walk. The route back to San Vigilio leads partly along the main road and partly along the walkway.
