Internodiciotto is the creative workshop of designer Silvia DellaGiacoma. Born in Eppan, she has worked in the fashion world and after years decided to start her own label, back in her home country. Internodiciotto stands for individual everyday fashion and extravagant evening wear with the main focus on handmade embroidery.

In our showroom you will find over 100 ready-made garden fountains made of limestone, granite and porphyry, some of which can be combined with beautiful figures made of bronze or marble. Some of our natural stone fountains are also suitable for interior design, e.g. wellness and entrance areas.

We manufacture customised sculptures, columns, steps, door, window and fireplace surrounds. Tables, benches and barbecue combinations made of natural stone or iron are planned and manufactured according to your personal wishes.

The Alpinart studio is situated at the end of the village of Scena. Monika Kienzl’s gallery features products made of local sheep’s wool. She makes and felts tea light covers, seat cushions, slippers, natural soap covers, elaborate table runners and wall pictures. It’s definitely worth a visit.

My name is Karl Heinz Windegger, born in 1962. I live in Lana (South Tyrol) and run a small fruit farm. In 2005 I attended my first woodturning course in Val d'Ultimo.

Today I exclusively produce unique items from local woods such as apple - walnut - cherry - ash - alder - cedar - Swiss stone pine and other woods. The assortment ranges from spinning tops, tea lights, jewellery, decorative objects, to bowls, vases, globes, salt and pepper mills and much more. If you are interested in taking a look at my woodturning workshop, visit me in my workshop and experience the craft at first hand. In my small farm shop I have exhibited all the unique items I have made.

Thalerhof farm is located at 900 metres above sea level in the district of Schnauders above the village of Feldthurns. Fantastic views of the Dolomites may be had from the farm, which has been in the family’s hands since 1772. The Kerschbaumer family’s cowshed is home to 15 dairy cows and their young and there are two holiday flats on the farm, which are rented out to guests. Another eleven hectares of woodland also belong to Thalerhof. Herbert Kerschbaumer, the farmer, enjoys spending time in the woods as much as he does in his spacious wood carving workshop, where he may be seen working along with his father, also a keen wood carver, mainly in the winter months. In 1893 when the copper mine ceased its activity, the population of Prettau/Predoi was forced to find other sources of income: the lace making.

The precious art to create these masterpieces was transmitted to the local population after founding the School of Lace Making in Prettau/Predoi. The laces were sold in Europe, Africa and America.

The gallery Hofburg is a meeting place for lovers of art, especially the nativity figures - such as the Neapolitan - and modern art. Jacob Kompatscher's collection includes nativity figures, complete cribs, wooden carvings, sculptures and paintings by well-known local, national and international artists such as Angela Tripi from Sicily, Adriano Colombo from Veneto or Leo Demetz from South Tyrol. In the heart of the picturesque old town, its two workshops at the same time became a meeting place and forum for numerous artists and art lovers.
