From the village centre hike in westerly direction to Hotel Tirolerhof. From here follow the “nautre and culture path”. Behind the biotope continue in westerly direction (path no. 1a) to the Stricknerhof farm in Pein; afterwards hike to Margen (path no. 1) to the Hauerhof farm, to the Hansleitnerhof farm and to the Jakobehof farm. Above from the pyramids you cross the river near the mills and continue in eastern direction (path no. 1) to the Alpeggerhof farm. From here you hike back to the point of departure via Walderlanerstraße street.

From the parking area "Winnebachtal/Val Vena" you hike belong the mark 23 trought the valley to the hut "Astnerbergalm" (open from may to octobre). After the hut the path gets a little bit steeper, but after the little waterfall begins the comfortable part of the tour, which will bring you to the hut and lake "Tiefrasten"(every day open from May to November). The Tiefrasten hut and the lake of the same name will spoil your palate and eyes. From there you can follow the path in 1 hour to the "Kempspitze".

Sportive - Outlook to the nearby glaciers

The uphill part of this hike leads across flower-strewn mountain meadows and alpine pastures to the high-altitude Eisbruggsee lake and the beautifully situated Edelrauthütte hut (2,545 m). Mt. Napfspitze towers steeply above the hut, but the path that leads up there is negotiated without any great difficulty. The way back can be either the same as the ascent or via the Gampiel Alm hut.

Cross the quaint mountain village of Fane Alm, continue through the Schramme gorge and on along the uphill trail that leads to the Brixner hut. The Brixner hut is located on the Pfunders high mountain trail.

With the cablecar Gitschberg at Maranza/Meransen to the mountain station at 2041 m, from here towards Ochsenboden on path nr 21, afterwards on path nr 6 (pay attention) towards the hut Seefeld and descent to the great lake Seefeld (2271 m). Descending until the two alpine lodges Wieserhütte and Pranter Stadelhütte (1850). Leaving the valley Altafossa and crossing the village Maranza/Meransen to the starting point at the cablecar Gitschberg.

With a total length of 6.75 kilometres, the Brimi Winter Run on Mt. Gitschberg is one of the longest toboggan runs in South Tyrol. It leads from the Nesselhütte hut – near the Gitschberg cable car mountain terminal – to Meransen. If you don’t have a toboggan with you, or you simply prefer to travel light, you can rent one at the Gitschberg-Nesselbahn lift terminal.

This average-level circular hike circles the Peitlerkofel mountain in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park. It runs from the rolling meadows at Würzjoch up to the Peitlerscharte ridge and over the Peitlerwiesen pastures to the Gömajoch ridge on the north side of the mountain. Hikers have an astounding panorama of the Dolomites at this tour.

The Maranza Alpine Hut Circuit starts at the Gitschberg cable car mountain station. The cable car from Maranza  runs also in the summermonth. The Gitschberg Alpine Hut Circuit is very clearly signposted so it should be easy to find your way.{MQ}First take trail no. 20 to the Gitschhütte mountain hut (refreshments available), then no. 12 to the Zasslerhütte mountain hut . Follow trail no. 21 to the Ochsenboden, continue to where it joins trail no. 6, then turn left along this via the Kleiner Gitsch to the panoramic viewpoint and finally on to the Moserhütte mountain hut (refreshments available). From the hut, take a new mountain trail down to the Gampen rest area and from there go left again across meadows and through woodland up on a fairly flat trail towards the Gassler Alm Alpine farm and then on to the Bacherhütte mountain hut (refreshments available). From here go a short distance on trail no. 14 and then turn onto trail no. 19A as far as the Kiener Alm Alpine farm (refreshments available). From here climb a short distance up trail no. 20 and then turn left onto the Geißraste circular trail as far as the Pichlerhütte mountain hut (refreshments available). Now continue a short distance towards the Zasslerhütte mountain hut, but turn off to the right before reaching it and continue on the Geißraste circular trail to the mountain station of the Gitschberg cable car.{MQ}As the name suggests, the Alpine Hut Circuit takes in several mountain huts, ranging from rustic and basic to cosy and comfortable. Along the way you get countless wide views out over the Pustertal valley and the nearby mountains of the Pfunderer Tal valley. Stops at the Moserhütte panoramic information board and the Gampen car park with its interesting wood carvings are particularly recommended.

With these words, we welcome all visitors to the Creation Trail on the Rodengo and Luson Alps.

When the religious man turns his eyes to creation, he comes closer to the mysteries of God, of man and of nature, and senses intuitively that by living in communion with God, mankind and nature blossom.

The Creation Trail invites visitors from near and far to wonder at the magic of the surrounding landscape, moulded through mankind over the centuries to bestow upon it the form that we see today.

Among artists and art lovers, the perception of religious motif and the language they speak are perhaps their greatest source of inspiration. The highest form of artistic expression is giving voice to the unvoiced.

When following the trail, each visitor can behold, be at one and be amazed in their own personal way, and hear the message that unites us all.

This easy walking tour can be recommended during all seasons of the year. Along a nice forest path we have to manage about 6.5 km (each direction) and 550 metres in altitude. It proceeds through beautiful forests and larch meadows and offers also a visit to the Rif. Anratter mountain hut at 1,815 m asl.

The Dolorama trail climbs steadily – but in gentle ups and downs – through the vast expanse of the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp into the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites all the way to Lajen. It is divided into four stretches, each offering an insight into South Tyrolean alpine farming as it is currently practised. Impressive mountainscapes will accompany you every step of the way, and there are several huts along offering refreshments and overnight accommodation. You can use public transport to get back.

Several installations (magic stones) and story boards along this family- friendly trail is suitable for prams and leads directly to Rodenegg Castle across a fairy-tale forest. At the castle, the adventures of the knight of the Round Table take shape once again in the Ywein frescoes - a fine example of Romanesque art and the earliest secular wall paintings in the German-speaking area.

The alpine hike to the Eidechsspitze is a moderately difficult route with a magnificent panorama. From the village center you follow the marker 22 to reach the Englalm hut. From here, you change to the way and steep uphill the Eidechsspitze peak. The alpine mountain hike is difficult and appropriate only for experienced hikers.

The high altitude hiking trail of Valles leads you to the alpine villagge Malga Fane Alm. It starts at the mountain station of the railway cable car Jochtall (2006 m). Follow trail No. 9 over the ridge Valler Jöchl to the alpine pasture until the ridge Peachenjoch. There it further goes down on the mark No.9 along the alpine pastur Ochsenalm to the alpine village Malga Fane Alm (1739 m). The way backto the station at the valley of the railway cable car Jochtal passes on the kilk steep path No.17.

Starting point: Parking Winnebachtal Valley Terento. Take path No. 5B, passing the Lerchnerhof farm, and then path No. 5 to the Pertinger hut. Continue along path No. 5 until it branches off onto the Gamssteig path (signpost No. 5A), which will lead you to the Hof Alm pasture, crossing charming green meadows. From there, the itinerary takes you for a short stretch along the Pfundres high mountain trail until you reach the smaller of the two huts. Once there, you can either climb on to the Tiefrasten hut (another 45 minutes) or make your way downhill to the Astner Bergalm hut and back to the car park.

Starting from the Fane Alm car park, take the forest road leading to Fane Alm, then turn right onto the mountain road towards the Tschiffernaun hut. The landscape is characterised by woodland at first; then, when you reach the Stin hut, the wood gives way to vast alpine meadows.

From the village place near the church we have to go to the end of the village, in direction to Saubach/St. Ingenuino. At the last house of the village (Haus Urban), on the right side, beginns the "Wasserfallweg". We contnue this trail until we cross a street. We go on this street until the next curve and branch off to the left and there is another trail, which pass on the lower waterfall (Duration ca. 1 hour). From the lower one we hike to the upper waterfall. For this trail good foodwear is necessery. At he way back we take the hike way nr. 6 and 6 A to the saw mill and hear we can go back from the "Wasserfallweg" to Barbian/Barbiano.

The lonely green slopes of Pfunders hide two real gems: the Grindlberg lake and the Weitenberg lake. This beautiful tour, far removed from the most-trodden paths, begins at the spacious car park in the tranquil hamlet of Dun.

For this tour, first walk towards the Gitschhütte hut and on to the “Ochsenboden” area, then take the path that leads up to the Falzarer saddle. An uphill path takes you along the south-east ridge to the summit, then back to the Falzarer saddle. From there, take the rugged path towards Mt. Gitsch, where you will be rewarded with a fabulous panorama. The descent is at the southern face of Mt. Gitschberg.

Departing from the Altfasstal car park, go to the Walderhof farm and take the Leitensteig path to Vals.

The farm trail leads from the village of Fundres/Pfunders by the Parthof farm to the viewing platform overlooking the Pichlerhof farm, then on down through the woods and for a short distance along the Pfundererbach stream. From here the trail leads over a bridge, past the Obergasserhof farm and, after the Wieserhof farm, down to the road, over the bridge and through the fields and meadows back to the starting point. There are frequent information boards to stop and read.

This uncomplicated circuit hike on the high moors of the Villanderer Alm mountain pasture through pine forests, offers fantastic views of the Dolomites. Occupying about 20 km2, the Villanderer Alm is one of the largest Alpine pastures in Europe. 

Starting off from the Jochtal lift valley terminal, follow the Dynafitweg trail that leads uphill towards the Nockalm hut and to the mountain station Jochtal. In winter this trail is used as a ski tour trail.

A pleasant hike from the Jochtal lift mountain station to the Steiner Mandl panoramic platform, offering a 360-degree view. The trail leads first in the direction of the Ochsenalm area, then turns left and climbs up to the Steiner Mandl summit and panoramic platform, at 2,117 meters. The Jochtal lift operates in both summer and winter.
