The La Brancia chairlift, from winter 2020 – 2021 a 6-seater chairlift, serves several blue slopes on the Piz Sorega - Piz La Ila - Col Alto plateau in the ski area Alta Badia.
The ski lift in San Cassiano - Armentarola district is the link between the WW1 ski circuit and the Skicarosello ski area in Alta Badia.
The Pré dai Corf chairlift on the Piz La Ila - Col Alto plateau in the basin between Corvara and La Villa is connected by a ring of lifts and slopes to the villages in Alta Badia.
From the chair lift a series of sunny and perfectly prepared slopes lead towards Corvara, La Villa and San Cassiano. For passionate skiers an experience not to be missed is the Parallel Slalom Pré dai Corf with two giant slalom lines where you can challenge your friends. Just try and you will see, once you exit the gates, you will feel like real champions.
The Tru Liösa Foram natural sledging trail starts on the Piz Sorega (2,003 m) and goes across fields and through woods beneath the Piz Sorega gondola lift to San Cassiano (1,537 m). The scenery along the route is quite enchanting: from the snowy Alpine pastures of the high plateau, you reach the Foram forest before a final spurt takes you down into the valley.
The average gradient on the sledging trail is about 10 to 15%. To keep sledging fans safe, 2.3 km of the sledging track has been protected with legally compliant timber edging.
The start of the trail can be reached by the Piz Sorega gondola lift from San Cassiano.
The Piz Sorega gondola lift starting from San Cassiano leads to the plateau of the same name that connects Corvara, La Villa and San Cassiano, in the Alta Badia ski and hiking area.
A few years ago, next to the top station, the Bear Park Movimënt was created. Here children and adults can spend time of pure fun learning and discovering many interesting things about the magical world of nature. So, for example, you can visit a real bear cave dedicated to the Ladin bear of the Conturines grotto. Outside the cave you will find a minigolf circuit, always dedicated to the bear, a zip line, water games, a special beehive shaped slide and many other games for children of all ages.
In winter the slopes that leave from Piz Sorega lead to La Villa and Corvara and in Corvara you are on the Sellaronda. In addition to the slopes that connect with the entire area, two slopes start from the mountain station of Piz Sorega, one red and one blue, which lead down to San Cassiano. Finally, the natural toboggan run "Tru Liösa Foram" also descends from the valley station of the Piz La Ila.
This easy circular hike between La Villa and Badia goes just a short distance along the floor of the valley, partly through meadows, partly through woodland, from farm to farm, with little variation in altitude and lovely views of the beautiful "viles" of Alta Badia.
The "viles" are settlements that were built in the form of a circle so that each settlement was surrounded by its farmland.
The Doninz 4-seater chairlift departs from La Villa – in the meadow next to the state road. The Doninz slope, easy and wide (blue track) is much loved by ski schools that often take their courses there. Once a week, thanks to the lighting, night skiing is possible. In addition, during the winter the ski schools organize several evening ski shows.
