Grazing cattle in summer, lush alpine meadows, a fantastic view and tasty, local dishes invite hikers and bikers all year round to a hearty hut meal and a hearty Marende. Our rustic, newly structured alpine hut in the Tiersertal (Dolomites) is a worthwhile destination for the whole family. Whether on foot, by mountain bike, with stroller or baby carrier: the short way to us is suitable for all. You will be rewarded with local dishes, a tasty cake or other regional specialties, together with a good cup of coffee.

Sesselschwaige, a cozy alpine inn on the slopes of Mount Sciliar A perfect hiking destination at the Sciliar, one of South Tyrole‘s best known landmarks. Sesselschwaige is located about an hour's hike below the vast plateau of Mount Sciliar. Surrounded by green pastures, not far from a clear mountain creek, the inn is popular for taking a break on the way up or down from the Sciliar and its chalets. But the charming little alpine hut is a perfect destination itself and rewards the hiker with typical local culinary delights, fresh dairy products and splendid views of the surrounding woods, slopes and peaks. Since the cottage has no access road and can be reached only by foot, there is true peace and quiet to be found here. The Sattler hut is situated at the foot oft he Denti di Terrarossa in the heart of the Dolomites. The hut offers local dishes and homemade Strudel and cakes. The Sattler hut is accessible via Panorama on trail no.2 and via the Laurin hut on the gravel path.

After an exciting walking-tour a traditional snack with a good wine from South Tyrol expect You. Of course You must also taste our sweets. All our desserts are self-made!

Up here you will enjoy the magnificent view over the Rosengarten, the Vajolet towers and the Latemar, but also the fresh homemade specialities, spiced with different herbs and spices from the surrounding nature. Taste also a fresh salad from the garden behind the hut. Eassily accessible on different tracks with spectacular view from Tires, Fiè, Umes and from the Lake – laghetto di Fiè. The Arnika hut on the Bullaccia/Puflatsch offers walkers, hikers and skiers a friendly place to stop for refreshment. A beautiful sun terrace, cosy inn and children’s playground all situated in the midst of either a sea of alpine flowers or a winter wonderland. NO service of return on the slopes for skiers.

Relax in the small hut after a leisurely walk. Soak up the sun and try the tasty dumplings and poppy-seed or jam doughnuts. The Tuene hut is situated on the Hans-and-Paula-Steger trail.

The Spitzbühl hut ist he starting point for paradliders and hang-gliders, as well as for model aircraft. Visitors con also take a tendem flights from here. The rustic hut at the mountain station oft he Spitzbühl lift servers tipical South Tyrolean dishes: the house made specialities include baked pasta dishes and delicious cakes.

Small, easily accessible alpine hut at the foot of the Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel mountain. The Murmeltier hut offers a cosy atmosphere and serves simple hot and cold dishes, as well as home-made cakes.

Young chef Franz Mulser conjures up superlative dishes in a small kitchen just two and a half square metres in size at an altitude of 1930 m. The young chef’s maxim is “fresh and natural”. The hut has a maximum capacity of 25 people and, in the evenings, meals must be booked in advance. During the day, hikers and, in winter, skiers and snowboarders come here in search of refreshment. The evenings are particularly relaxing and guests can enjoy Franz’s dishes, such as hay soup with truffles or local venison.

Malga Contrin is located on a sunny hill in the middle of unspoiled nature on the Alpe di Siusi at 2011 m altitude and can be easily reached in summer and winter. Our alpine hut (1364 m) is situated in the natural park Sciliar -Catinaccio.

The little Gstatsch hut is newly built with the philosophy of South Tyrolean regionality. At the same time we move away from the tradition and reinterpret a new cuisine. The route up to the hut is family and cyclist friendly. Ideal for un short round on the alp or a mountain tour.

The Alpine Star hut is located at 2,045 m above sea level in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten nature park. The tranquility of nature, the magnificent all-round panorama of the fascinating mountains of the Dolomites and the lake make this place special. The Alpine Star hut is easily accessible by foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn carriage. You can reach the hut on hiking trail number 7 from Compaccio. It takes about 1 hour. We are closed when the weather is bad, as we only have tables and seats outside.

The newly opened “Heualm” is located at 1,933 m above sea level surrounded by green flowering alpine meadows, larch trees and the Dolomites. The tranquillity of nature, the breathtaking all-round panorama and the wide and lush alpine meadow make this place special. Due to its idyllic location, delicious South Tyrolean culinary specialities and warm hospitality, the small alpine hut is a popular destination for hikers and connoisseurs. The Heualm can be reached comfortably by foot, by mountain bike or by horse-drawn carriage. From Compatsch via hiking trail no. 7 and no. 6 with a duration of approx. 1 hour or via hiking trail no. 30 and no. 6/6b with a duration of approx. 1 hour.

The Schgaguler hut offers typical dishes, as well as cheese, Speck (bacon) and local wines. Accessibility From Compaccio/Compatsch, follow trail no. 30 as far as Ritsch and then trail no. 9 to the Schgaguler hut. It takes ten minutes on foot from the mountain station of the Ortisei/St. Ulrich lift.

Everyone who stays in the Marinzenhütte may enjoy about the beautiful sunterrace and a comfortable lawn. There are a petting zoo and a children's playground.

The Schgaguler Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 1905m near the mountain station of the Ortisei / Alpe di Siusi cable car, opened in 1991. The hut is easily reached regardless of the season, whether during a bike tour or hike in summer or as part of a ski tour or snowshoe hike in winter. The spacious terrace is perfect for an outdoor lunch and guests can head to the garden to relax and sunbathe in the deckchairs. There is a playground and a small petting zoo nearby, where rabbits, goats, ponies and even lamas look forward to a visit from the children. The rustic interior is in traditional rustic style and includes a Stube perfect for spending time in good company - often for longer than expected, especially in winter! Tasty homemade traditional South Tyrolean dishes are all freshly prepared using the farm’s own products.
