Autumn time is Törggele time: especially for Törggelen in autumn we serve game specialties, tasty dishes such as smoked meat, meat platters with cabbage, Dumplings, Schlutzer, homemade farmer's bacon, chimney sausage, church donuts, and - of course - roasted chestnuts!

From the valley head Ridanna follow path no. 9 through the forest and along the Fernerbach moderately steep up to the Aglsboden, then stronger ascending to the refuge Grohmannhütte (2.254m) and steep up to the refuge Teplitzer Hütte.

The Grohmann hut (Italian Rifugio Vedretta Piana) is located in South Tyrol in the upper Ridnauntal near the Austrian border.

At noon they are a long range of pasta dishes, fine soups and hearty meat dishes to choose from. Families feel particularly at home in the Pflerschtal valley ski area between the Brenner/Brennero border and the medieval town of Sterzing/Vipiteno. Kids from age 2 can have a blast at 'Fichti's Kinderwelt, a 5,000 m² children's winter park. At the ski school, which has received several gold awards, the ski instructors know exactly how beginners best learn to take their first turns. Experienced skiers can carve over the slopes of the forest valley ski run or enjoy the panoramic trail with a view of the Tribulaun and the Weißwandspitze peaks. The nearly 7-km toboggan run from the Ladurner Alm Alpine pasture is fun for young and old. Alternatively, the idyllic landscape in the Ridnauntal, Pfitschtal and Pflerschtal valleys boasts countless winter hiking routes and an exquisite network of cross-country skiing trails. Experienced ski tourers can climb up to the Stubai Glacier or the Zillertal Alps.

In the Ratschings ski area, not far from Sterzing/Vipiteno, advanced skiers carve across 28 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, while little ones can practice skiing and playing in the snow at the “Kinderland”. Freestylers are drawn to the “Fun-slope”, featuring steep turns, tunnels, and small jumps. Skiers particularly love the north-facing slopes, offering firm snow conditions well into spring, as well as the forest descent. Above the mountain station, the forest opens up to feature a wide plain that invites you to winter hikes. The toboggan run is the perfect way for the whole family to descend into the valley together. Cross-country skiers will find a challenge on the "Platschjoch High-Altitude Trail," which runs diagonally through the gentle winter landscape on the main chain of the Alps and through spruce forests.

The Waldhütte is located in the Ratschings-Jaufen ski area right next to the mountain station. It can be reached in winter via the mountain railway Ratschings-Jaufen. In summer the forest hut is closed.

In our restaurant you can find tyrolean and italian food. There you can find place for about 90 persons. In the summer you can also sit outside.

In our three dining-halls – two in Tyrolean rustic style from the year 1908 and one with vaulted ceiling – we serve you delicious creations from our chef Georg Steurer made of the best ingredients of the respective season, fresh fruit and vegetables of local produce as well as home made pasta and sweet delicacies. Elaborate preparation with mainly local ingredients, partly produced on our own farm, which leave nothing to be desired.

We heat up the oven for shoes and souls, cook with love and fantasy, support dance and music, appreciate tradition and fresh thoughts, enjoy telling and listening to good stories.

Typical regional dishes, Mediterranean and international specialities, products from our own farm, comfortable rooms and genuine hospitality are the hallmarks of good restaurants - our Restaurant Lener near Vipiteno is no exception. We look personally after our guests and serve mainly homemade dishes. We are famous for our homemade sauerkraut.

We serve in addition to the typical local dishes also delicious italian and international dishes. The chef cooks here in person!

At 3,195 m, the Becherhaus is South Tyrol's highest refuge. The Becherhaus is located in the Ridnaun Valley in the Wipptal on the South Tyrolean side of the Stubai Alps on the edge of the Übertalferner.

Few cities are so close to the slopes: From the picturesque shopping streets of the former Fugger town of Sterzing/Vipiteno, it’s just a five minutes to the valley station of the Rosskopf cable car, which quickly transports guests up to 1,860 m above sea level. On Sterzing's local mountain, also known as the 'Sterzing sun terrace,' the panorama over the entire Wipptal valley is quite impressive and the Dolomites of the southern Odle mountains reach for the sky. The quickest way back into the valley is via the spacious slopes. Alternatively, discover the idyllic winter landscape of the family-friendly skiing area by snowshoes. The toboggan run is winter fun for young and old at its most popular. With a distance of 10 km, it’s the longest track with artificial snow cover in Italy.

Tribulaun Lodge is an ideal base for climbers and mountaineers both before their climb to the summit and as overnight accommodation, or for those who wish to have a relaxing holiday and enjoy the fantastic view. Tasty mountain dishes are served with refreshing drinks. Treat yourself in the heart of the mountains!

"moidls lokäischn" is a café, restaurant, bakery and shop in one. People meet here for coffee, to eat a snack or to stock up on local specialities. We are a village store, bakery, souvenir shop and are delighted when we become a meeting place for locals and guests.

Are you coming to the Zillertal Alps for mountaineering or climbing? Then don't miss out on a visit to our uniquely situated Europahütte. Many alpinists still know us under the former name Landshuter Hütte. Here you can stop off on your hiking vacation in the Pfitschertal, enjoy the magnificent view with hearty Tyrolean delicacies and spend the night at a wonderful altitude. We have a total of 65 beds available.

Our chef and his team is able to thrill you with refined South Tyrolean and Mediterranean delicacies. In the Restaurant Zum Engel in Vipiteno we pay much attention to choose only seasonal and biological products cultivated in the surroundings. In our restaurant near the ski and recreational area Monte Cavallo we spoil you with culinary delights of our gourmet cuisine. The gastronomic weeks dedicated to specialties such as asparagus, yogurt and mushrooms are highly appreciated among our guests.
