In our wine-shop, the "Wein- & Sektlaube KÖSSLER" at the Piazza San Paolo you can taste and buy all wines. Speck, cheese and south tyrolean bread - a typical in-between meal of the area Oltradige - accompagny when possible, the visit in our house.

We have space for everyone. Children, smokers, health-conscious and nature lovers. We have a large children's playground and a covered terrace. Or do you prefer a non smoking room in the evening? Here you go, our dining rooms are very cozy. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards the guest will enjoy his meal. Where can you find this? Not far from Bolzano in the restaurant "Wiesenheim".

Right in the centre of the village, immersed in nature Eppanerhof. The name lives up to its promise. This historic building with its shady terrace, garden and large car park may be found right in the centre of Eppan-Appiano, making it the idea base for walks and cycling tours in the Überetsch valley area. The popular bathing lakes of southern South Tyrol are close by, too. This is the perfect accommodation for explorers, bon vivants and all those who appreciate genuine, warm hospitality. Our rooms afford generous views across the sea of vineyards that make up the Überetsch valley and as stretch far as the provincial capital of Bozen-Bolzano. To the west the Mendel-Mendola mountain, with its densely forested ridge, may be seen rising up, inviting hikers to scale the heights and enjoy the views for miles around. Eppan-Appiano is a lively village on the South Tyrol Wine Road, where posh boutiques may be found alongside corner shops, elegant vinotheques next to the village cafè, and prestigious restaurants beside traditional pizzerias. Eppanerhof is a combination of the latter: the good reputation of the pizzas served in its restaurant extends beyond the local surrounding Überetsch area. You will find our wine bar in the Ansitz Schreckenstein in the wine village of St. Pauls in the municipality of Eppan. In fine weather you may take a seat in the inner courtyard with its Mediterranean flair, while in bad weather our parlours offer enough space.

Arrival From the Bolzano Sud motorway exit, immediately take the direction of Merano (Me-Bo highway), take the first exit towards Appiano / Caldaro following the "Strada del vino" signs. after approx. 100 mt., At the intersection, turn left towards Bolzano / Frangarto at the first roundabout go right towards Cornaiano. After approx. 3 km you will find on the left the indication of the hotel "Hotel Girlanerhof".
