Guided tours
Tour are held every Monday at 10.00 and Thursday at 14.30 only in German and Wednesday at 15.00 only in Italian, the cost per person is € 12.00. The tastings are reserved to adults (age +18). The shooting range of Termeno village (Tramin Dorf), located in the Via Tiro a Segno road no. 10, was founded in 1855 by the community physician and mayor Alexander von Keller. Nowadays the facility is also known for its eponymous restaurant with pizzeria, called “Schiessstand” in German, and is one of only four remaining shooting ranges in South Tyrol which still organises the traditional 120 m small-bore free shooting. The historical annual small-bore shooting was renamed “Josefi Fest- und Freischiessen” in 1951. Still today it is held every year at the weekends between the beginning of March and the beginning of April.

The history of the Psenner Distillery is indelibly characterised by that of the company's founder, Ludwig Psenner, born in 1920 in the famous South Tyrolean wine village of Tramin, the place which has given its name to the world's favourite aromatic grape variety, Gewürztraminer. Ludwig Psenner's life story is one of a straightforward and sincere man who emanated a catching vigour. At an early age he threw himself into the craft of distilling, delving into the recondite processes and mysteries involved. Then at the age of 27 he founded his own distillery, installing his first bain marie still.

The Kastelaz hill of Termeno - Tramin rises on old cultural ground and is accessible in only 15 minutes from the local center of Termeno - Tramin. The panoramic view reaches from the north to the south. Therefore the whole southern valley floor of the Adige is overlookable. The history of the Kastelazer Bühel goes back many centuries. A settlement during the Iron Age is assumed. The Saint Jakob chapel sits enthroned on the hill and supports the energy of the place with its mysterious frescoes. The view above the hill with its vineyard till the lake of Caldaro - Kaltern symbolizes the peace and silence of the insignificant place. The suntrap hill was used quite early for the wine growing and is still in use for the agriculture. Emperor Tiberius should have loved this wine so much, that an imperial guard had to watch over the vineyards in the Bühel.
