Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Did you know that wild plants are bursting with vitamins and minerals? On a short hike with herbalist Rosi, learn what wild herbs are all about and collect a wide variety of seasonal herbs, which are then creatively processed in a workshop. The guided tour will be in German

The Schenna Tourist Association and various local brass bands invite all guests and residents to a special concert at the Music Pavilion on Raiffeisen Square. Enjoy an unforgettable evening filled with music, emotions, and community. Seating is available, so you can relax and enjoy the evening comfortably. This Thursday, the Band of Klausen will deliver unforgettable sounds and an exciting atmosphere.

Approach to the parking space in Tall/Talle. Ascent with the Hirzer cable car from the middle station to Klammeben. Ascent on the hiking trail E5 to the Hirzerscharte and continue on trail no. 7 to the highest peak in the Sarntal Alps. Views over the Ortler, Ötztal and Stubai Alps. The descent is via the Gompm Alm hut to Tall/Talle to the parking space. Walking time: approx. 6 h (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 821 m ascent and 1,370 m descent The hike will be in German and Italian.

Every year in August, a particularly large number of shooting stars flit across the night sky. From 11 to 147th of August, the so-called "Perseids" reach their peak this year. This is also the case on Tuesday, 12th August and the Knottnkino cinema in Vöran is the ideal place to keep an eye out for the "lucky charms". Bring a picnic blanket, listen to pleasant sounds and enjoy some tasty snacks ... Members of the South Tyrolean amateur astronomers "Max Valier" will also be there, with telescopes and interesting stories to tell about the night sky. Photographs and videos may be taken at the event for the purpose of documenting and promoting the event and the area. The recordings may be used and published on websites, in social networks and in the media in compliance with data protection regulations.

On Wednesday, 17 August, starting at 17:00, the traditional church consecration festival will take place at the old parish church in Algund village. In addition to music, food and drink, locals and guests can also try their luck at the pot luck. The Algund Volunteer Fire Brigade looks forward to seeing you there.

The Schenna music band does one of their concerts at Verdins.

The festival site is located directly on the cycle path and close to Staben railroad station. Schenna market is full of festival feeling. Like in the olden days, the market is more than just a place to sell or buy wares – it’s a place to meet people and stop for a chat! Eat, drink and chat to your heart’s content! Merchants and artisans present their products, Schenna farmers proffer their home-made wares, and restaurants serve South Tyrolean specialities.

From Ortisei we take the funicular to Rasciesa, from there we hike across the alpine pastures and the Adolf Munkel path at the foot of the Geißlerspitzen to the Gschnagenhartalm and on to Zans in the Villnöss Valley.
