Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Concert by the Tscherms music band, Tscherms music pavilion, 8.00 pm. In case of bad weather the concert is cancelled.

Approach on the Timmelsjoch road to the car park at the Timmelsbrücke bridge. Ascent from there via the alpine access road to the Timmelsalm hut and on to the Großer Schwarzsee lake. Continue the ascent on trail no. 30 to the Schwarzwandscharte and finally without a path to the nearby summit. The descent follows the same route. Attention: Good physical condition required! Walking time: approx. 8 h (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 1,347 m The hike will be in German and Italian.

One of the most traditional festivals in Dorf Tirol is dedicated to autumnal indulgence and starts on Saturday with an evening torch-lit procession, music and dancing. After a hearty morning pint, the Autumn Festival reaches its highpoint on Sunday with the large parade, in which elaborately decorated floats, musical bands and societies pass through the village.

Festival at Verdins: Visitors to this festival can enjoy folk music and South Tyrolean specialities. It’s a date that locals and guests mark red in their diaries.

In September, Last Summer Glow invites you to an atmospheric evening that celebrates the end of summer in a unique atmosphere. Under twinkling fairy lights and warm candlelight, surrounded by natural decorations, cocktails, selected red and white wines and fresh juices are served. Small culinary highlights round off the experience for guests. An evening full of relaxation and enjoyment that celebrates the gentle transition from summer to autumn in a stylish and harmonious way.

Traditional autumn festival: parade of the Schützen corps (shooters) with costumes and music in Schenna. The mood is festive at the autumn Schützen fair! Traditional costumes are accompanied by lively music and culinary specialities. During the festive procession, holidaymakers and locals can admire the autumnally decorated floats, traditional folk groups and music bands as they parade through the streets of the village.

Live music, dancing and gastronomic specialities on the festival ground. If the weather is bad the morning pint doesn't take place.

The Day of the Choirs will take place at the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle throughout the course of the entire day, sending the sound of local choral music ringing out over the Asian bamboo, North American forests and exotic Mediterranean landscapes.

Excursion with the forest rangers of the Stelvio National Park in Val d'Ultimo. Starting from the end of September, with the return of autumn, the roar of the red deer echoes through the forests of the Stelvio National Park. Well covered from the evening cold and with a bit of luck, you will not only hear the animals but also have the chance to observe them. • Duration: 5 hours • You need: Outdoor clothing, headlamp, backpack (with spare clothes, rain jacket, snacks and drinks), hiking boots, headlamp is recommended • Difficulty: easy • Difference in height uphill 460 m, difference in height downhill 150 m • Tour length: 5,5 km • Price: 20€ including breakfast at the mountain hut • Free transport by shuttle bus from S.
