Approach from Stuls/Stulles to the Rafeinhof farm. Follow the original trail called "Jaufenkamm" no. 16 through the forest and across mountain meadows to the summit with ist panoramic views of the Ötztal, Stubai, Sarntal und Zillertal Alps. The descent follows the same path. Walking time: approx. 6 h (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 900 m The hike will be in German and Italian.

ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN! From Obereggen we take the Oberholz lift to the top and then hike over the Gamsstallscharte to the Latemar Hut. In the afternoon we take the lift back to Obereggen. The horseracing weekend also comprises other competitions of international importance, such as the Price of Nations (which is linked to the Crystal Cup) on September 27th, whilst the main event, the 86th Meran South Tyrol Grand Prix will be held on September 28th. Program: Starting at 10:00 AM, morning pint with Bohemian music and the youth music group "Musig Unlocked" (young musicians from Algund, Gratsch, Tscherms, and Marling). Afterwards, from 2:00 PM, "Törggelen" afternoon with another live music group. The Marling Music Group is excited to welcome you and treat you to delicious food! 🌟

A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better. Registration required in the tourist information office by 5 pm on the previous day. Limited number of participants.

Fresh roasted chestnuts, "Strauben" (typical dessert in South Tyrol) and drinks with musical entertainment at the clubhouse in Nals.

In Schenna, South Tyrol's "fifth season" is celebrated with the Törggele afternoons at the Raiffeisen Square. Various stalls offer South Tyrolean specialities to taste and buy. Of course, roasted chestnuts and new wine, the so-called Sußer, are not to be missed. Musical accompaniment is also provided!

The autumn custom of Törggelen has a centuries-old tradition in South Tyrol. After the successful harvest in autumn, the farmers of the area met and celebrated with new wine, cabbage and smoked meat, doughnuts and chestnuts. To this day, Törggelen is considered by South Tyroleans to be an expression of conviviality and joie de vivre. Traditional Törggelen at the village fountain in the centre of Naturno from 14.30 - 17.30 with roasted chestnuts, new wine and music. In October a flea market takes place at the same time at the town hall square from 9 am - 5 pm.

Autumn Festival of the Algund Brass Band On Sunday, October 5th, the Algund Brass Band invites you to their second Autumn Festival. Starting at 11:00 AM, enjoy a festive atmosphere with delicious food and great music. Four different music groups will provide entertainment this year: the Algund Youth Band, the philharmonic brass band from Zollernalb, a surprise new ensemble from the Algund Brass Band members, and the renowned "Fetzmusig," a brass ensemble from the Burggrafenamt that has been performing for over 20 years and includes several members of the Algund Brass Band. Culinary delights will be provided by the well-known kitchen of Gasthaus Kienegg in Vellau! The festival will continue until the early evening, and the Algund Brass Band looks forward to welcoming many visitors!

The morning pint starts at 10 a.m. Hearty traditional Törggelen with delicious roasted chestnuts and a glass of sweet wine are served from midday onwards. A youth band and a music group will provide atmospheric entertainment. You can look forward to a convivial Törggelen afternoon. The Marling folk dance group is looking forward to seeing you!

ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Holznerhof. We take the bus from the village centre of Schenna up to Verdins and hike via the Wieser Steig through the Vallplatz forest to the Holznerhof and after a cosy stop we descend to the Pichler restaurant. From the starting point you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. A Törggelemenü and hearty music are of course not to be missed! Alpine Folk Music Evening in Algund On Thursday, October 10, 2024, the Raiffeisen Hall at the house of culture Thalguter in Algund will transform into a place filled with traditional Alpine sounds. Starting at 8:30 PM, you can enjoy an evening of authentic folk music from the Alpine region, performed by outstanding music groups. Performers: Die Herwärtigen: Tanzlmusig Algund Die Hoamstanzer Michael Andreas Haas with a guitar solo from Reutte/Tyrol The lively group "Wetterhexn" The evening will be guided by Barbara Plattner. Locals and guests are warmly invited to share in this wonderful event. Admission is a voluntary donation. The South Tyrolean Folk Music Association, Burggrafenamt, and the Tourist Office Algund look forward to your attendance and wish you an enjoyable evening!

On Saturday, October 11, VKE Marling invites you to the autumn children's festival and children's flea market on the Marling playground from 10:30 am! A day full of highlights for the whole family!🌟 Look forward to fun and games with the VKE play bus and colorful face painting for children. Culinary delights such as soups, burgers, coffee, cakes and sweet candy floss leave nothing to be desired. Freshly roasted chestnuts are available to enjoy from 2pm.
